Wouldn't it be something if Armada is part of the #mangonation?

It's just that I'm seeing some blatant parallels between Talladega Nights and Melee.

Mango = Ricky Bobby
Armada = Jean Girard
Dr. Peepee = Cal Naughton

The American that everyone loved was the best before a European came over to take the belt away, and that's how it's been for a while now. America's number two has placed consistently well, but (until recently) has been in the shadow of America's number one for a long time. The European is still the best, but he's a huge fan of America's number one and truly believes that the American will prevail but he won't make the fight easy.

Based on how the movie ended, I am concluding that Dr. Peepee will win Apex.

And Armada will retire in peace.

Psh my analogy is better

Mango is the Seto Kaiba of SSBM.
Armada is Yugi Moto
Dr. PP can be Joey Wheeler

The matter with the Yugioh analogy is that all characters except for Yugi and Kaiba (and maybe Joey, but that's arguable) are kind of a degrading* comparison for top smashers imo.

Seriously, who are M2K and HBox going to be? Tristan and Mokuba?
