You've all been waiting for it, here it is, Bidoof joins the Brawl!

- Description -

Bidoof are small brown rodent-like creatures with large front teeth which they use for gnawing on wood. They have tufts of fur on their tails and a ring of them on their faces. They also have slightly webbed paws. Bidoof need to constantly gnaw on hard substances to keep their teeth ground down, since they grow constantly. Without something to gnaw on, they become violent because of the pain and inconvenience the unwieldy growing teeth cause. With nerves of steel, nothing can perturb it. It is more agile and active than it appears. Bidoof is ready to Brawl and beat everybody!

- Stats -

Walking Speed - Bidoof likes to walk calmly, 4/10!
Running Speed - This time, Bidoof is a little bit faster! 7/10!

Second Jump - Wow, he's a super jumper now! 6/10!
Tricky - Yes, he is a lot, because of his bonuses - 9/10!
Effective Specials - Bidoof is much more defensive, but can still beat you in no time, 7/10!
Crouch - Doesn't change a lot, but can still make him dodge many attacks, 6/10!
Combo Master - Yes, he can be a good Combo Maker! 7/10!

- Animations -

Idle Stance - Bidoof stands on his four legs, happy. Sometimes he looks on right and left, does his cry, and looks back in front.

Walking Animation - Bidoof walks in a normal way, one feet after the other. He looks on the sides sometimes.

Running Animation - Bidoof runs fastly, with his eyes closed. Some little dust is sent behind him when he runs.

Jumps - Bidoof gives himself a swing and jumps in the air, his legs on the side of his body, this is not really high. For the second jump you can see some leaves appearing while he hops another time in the air, spinning on himself this time.

Crouching - Bidoof falls on his chest, and tries to be the smaller he possibly can. His head is facing the ground and his legs are on both sides of his body.

Holding a Ledge - Bidoof holds the ledge with his mouth and his large teeth, almost falling.

Ground Dodge - Bidoof will get on his two back legs and spin on himself, dodging any attacks coming in his direction.

Side Dodge - Bidoof rolls sideways, on his entire body.

Air Dodge - Bidoof will spin out of the stage and get back after 1.5 second.

Sleeping - Bidoof is on the side, his eyes closed. You can see a little bubble coming out of his nose. He also has a smile on his face.

Dizzy - His eyes become swirling spirals. His head spins and he's walking on one side from time to time. Sometimes it's step moving him closer to the screen.

- Specials -

Neutral B - Dig
When you press B, Bidoof gets into the ground, hiding. In this form, Bidoof can only be hurt by another Bidoof in Dig form or, a Final Smash. He can stay in the ground for 9 seconds maximum. When using once, there's a reload time of 27 seconds. When moving in this form, he goes at twice his walking speed! Being under a Bidoof in Dig form doesn't do anything, but, what's coming can hurt you bad. When pressing B again while in the ground will make the beaver Pokémon gets out of the ground normally, but some rocks are sent everywhere, 2 Stage Blocks away. If anybody is hurt by the rock shards, they'll receive 14% damage with Mid-High knockback. There's a 1.5 second start lag, and 2 seconds end lag. There's also a 1 second attack lag, when you get out of the ground. If Bidoof gets past a ledge while using Dig, he'll fall down, and will even be in freefall. Some types of attack can hurt Dig Form Bidoof. If you make low attacks, like Mario's D-SMash, or Jigg's F-Smash, it will hurt him normally.
-15% damage -

Side B - Ice Fang
This move, has 2 different effect, depending on where the opponent is. First, the animation of this move. Bidoof teeth are surrounded by a light blue, cold smoke. Then he bites in the ground with power! Some little ice shards are sent 1 Stage Block away. If you're hit directly by Bidoof or the shards, you get 10% damage with Medium Knockback. Then, after biting, a road of slippy ice appears, from Bidoof, to 3 Stage Blocks further. The Ice Road can be stepped on, hanged, but is slippy! This move has a 2.5 seconds start lag, and 0.5 second end lag.
Ice Bonus : There's 25% chance the attacked enemy will be frozen solid. The enemy would stay this form 2 seconds, and receive 1% damage per second. They would also receive Medium Knockback when frozen. This bonus only applies to the enemies hitted by the ice shards or by Bidoof's teeth.
- 10% damage -

Up B - Rock Climb
Bidoof has a quite useful recovery! This can also help when you and another Brawler are recovering, you can KO the opponent. Ok, let's start this. Bidoof explodes in a mini rock shards explosion and goes 1 stage block higher in the air, but as soon as he gets there he does the same again, and a third time to finish this. So this gets you up of 3 Stage Blocks. The only way of being damaged is too be touching Bidoof at one of the three explosions, on which you would receive 9% damage with Mid-Low Knockback.
Rock Bonus : There's a 75% chance that during the 7 seconds after this move, the attacked opponent will be twice slower and twice heavier. However, he's not harder to send offscreen.
- 9% damage -

Down B - Substitute
This has a 3 seconds start lag. When using this move, Bidoof will step back from 2 Stage Blocks, but will let a stone copy of himself, where he first was. This stone clone cannot move or anything, it only stays there. But if somebody touches or hit the stone beaver physically, they'll be transformed in stone, and the stone Bidoof will fall into pieces, which can be thrown for 5% damage with Low Knockback. First, the Stone Bidoof will last 10 seconds, after which he'll crumble. An opponent transformed into stone would stay in that form 7 seconds maximum, or that could be shorter if smashed by an enemy. The last thing is, if this move is used in air, the stone copy will have the same animation the true one had, and will stay floating in the air.
- 0% damage -

- Normal Attacks -

Neutral A - Tail Whip
Bidoof turns around, his back now facing the opponent. He hits the opponent with his short tail horizontally, from right to left, then another time, from left to right. This combo has 2 hits total. First hit does 3% damage, with no knockback. The second and final hit does 5% damage with no knockback again.
- 3% damage + 5% damage, 8% damage -

Dash Attack - Headbutt
Bidoof jumps forward, hitting anybody in the way with his head. He jumps 1 1/2 stage blocks away. Causes 6% damage to anybody, with Mid-Low knockback. Has a 2 seconds end lag, it's a good dash attack compared to the others in the game.
- 6% damage -

Under 100% Ledge Attack - Iron Tail
While getting back on the stage, Bidoof will turn himself, his back facing the stage and he will shake his tail, which is now in iron. He shakes it in a vertical way. Being hit by his tail would result in you receiving 7% damage with Medium Knockback.
- 7% damage -

Over 100% Ledge Attack - Rock Smash
While getting up, a rock appears on the ledge but Bidoof breaks it strongly with his head. Some rock shards are sent everywhere, at the distance or 1 Stage Block. It does 7% damage with Mid-High Knockback.
Rock Bonus : There's a 75% chance that during the 7 seconds after this move, the attacked opponent will be twice slower and twice heavier. However, he's not harder to send offscreen.
- 7% damage -

Rising Attack on Chest - Cut
Bidoof gets back on his legs but horizontally, from left to right, with his teeth, then does same on the other side from right to left. This is quite fast, but has a 2 seconds start lag, a 1 second end lag. Does 5% damage on each slash, with Low Knockback.
- 5% damage per hit -

Rising Attack on Back - Swift
Yellow stars as high as Bidoof starts turning around him. There are 4 stars total. Opponents can only be hit by one of them. Being touched by them would in you receiving 7% damage with Mid-Low Knockback. This has a 1.5 seconds start lag, then the stars appear.
- 7% damage -

- Aerials -

Aerial A - Fury Cutter
Bidoof uses his teeth to destroy everything. He starts slashing everywhere around him with his sharp teeth. He hits all around himself, the range being from himself to 0.5 Stage Block further. This attack does 4 hits of 2% damage, the final one sending the opponent away with Mid-Low Knockback.
- 2% damage per hit -

Forward Aerial A - Crunch
Bidoof uses his teeth once more! Bidoof opens his mouth for 2 seconds, the start lag. Then he crunches powerfully forward at a very poor range, himself. But! A giant purple jaw with sharp teeth appears right in front of hi while he does this and the jaw does the exact same thing, it bites. The jaw changes the range to 1.5 Stage Block. Does 13% damage with High Knockback.
- 13% damage -

Back Aerial A - Double Team
Bidoof simply shakes his head, his back and his butt. This doesn't seem like a Back Aerial at all! An exact copy of Bidoof appears right behind himself and does the same as him. The copy stays there 2 seconds. Being hit by Bidoof or his copy would make you receive 10% damage with Mid-Low Knockback.
- 10% damage -

Up Aerial A - Rage
Bidoof turns red, and smoke comes out of him, then he gets into a red little hairy ball. He spins fastly and goes upward of 1 Stage Block. Has a 1 second start lag. This attack does 8% damage with Medium Knockback. Can be used to break Smash Ball floating over your head or bothering enemies.
- 8% damage -

Down Aerial A - Defense Curl
Bidoof closes his eyes and blue bubble appears around him. The bubble takes 1.5 second to appear, and makes him as big as Party Ball. When the bubble is complete he starts falling at Very High Speed ( Capt. Falcon's Run ) downward. Yes, he can die from this attack. But this does 8% damage with Mid-Low Knockback!
- 8% damage -

- Tilts -

Forward Tilt - Zen Headbutt
Bidoof leaps 1.5 stage blocks forward, and his forehead's color change into a psychic purple. This has a 1.5 second start lag, and 0.5 second end lag. Bidoof will only hurt people in front of him, if somebody falls on him while he executes this move, it has no effect. This move does 9% damage with Mid-Low Knockback.
Pshychic Bonus : This move has a bonus effect for being a psychic type move. There's 50% chances that the opponent will be confused. When confused the opponent's controls are reversed and he receives 1% damage per second, the opponent is confused for 5 seconds.
- 9% damage -

Up Tilt - Grass Knot
This time, Bidoof's entire body will turn greenish, and some little green roots will come out of it. Bidoof leaps into the air, spinning fastly. This doesn't seem to have a lot of range, but the roots extend themselves of 1/2 of a stage block. This has a 2 seconds start lag. It does 8% damage with Medium Knockback.
Grass Bonus : There's a 35% chance that after the enemy is hit by this move, some roots will get out of his back. This does that the opponent will lose 1 HP per second, and Bidoof will gain one at the same time. This lasts 3 seconds.
-8% damage -

Down Tilt - Rollout
Bidoof will get covered by solid rock until he becomes a rock ball. The ball is 1.2 times bigger than a Party Ball. Then Bidoof will roll on the left fastly, he'll go as far as 1 time his size, and then while passing at the middle he does the same distance while going to the right. Being hit by him would result in you having 10% more damage with Medium Knockback.
Rock Bonus : There's a 75% chance that during the 7 seconds after this move, the attacked opponent will be twice slower and twice heavier. However, he's not harder to send offscreen.
- 10% damage -

- Smash Attacks -

Forward Smash - Hyper Fang
While charging , Bidoof opens his mouth, ready to bite anybody. When releasing, a orange flash is released on his teeth and he bites forward. To increase range, a mini orange explosion appears 1 Stage Block further. it has a 2 seconds start lag, because it's powerful. Being touched would make you receive 15% damage with High Knockback. Sadly, this attack is only Normal Type so, no bonus.
- 15% damage -

Up Smash - Attract
While charging, Bidoof starts to turn pink a little bit and looks at the floor. When releasing, Bidoof does his cry while looking at the sky. He also moves his body a little bit on the sides, and he also turns completely pink. Two red hearts come out from the top of his head. Each of them can cause 6% damage with Mid-High Knockback. This has a 3 seconds lag, and the hearts lasts during 3 seconds. If an enemy is let's say at least 3 Stage Blocks near Bidoof, he'll get attracted to him with his eyes replaced by hearts. The hearts are as big as Bidoof himself.
- 6% damage per hit -

Down Smash - Stealth Rock
While charging, some little sharp rocks with the shape of diamonds appear, floating around Bidoof. When releasing, they'll disappear and bigger ones will pop out of the ground all around Bidoof and go 0.5 Stage Block over him. This has a 1.5 seconds start lag. The rocks hitbox on the sides is of 1.5 Stage Block away. The rocks do 5% damage, but hit three times maximum with Mid-High Knockback on the last rock.
Rock Bonus : There's a 75% chance that during the 7 seconds after this move, the attacked opponent will be twice slower and twice heavier. However, he's not harder to send offscreen.
- 5% damage per hit -

- Grabs -

Grab and Pummel - Bite
Bidoof grabs the opponent with his big teeth, at the maximum range of a Party Ball. When the opponent is grabbed, he tries to escape. When pummeling, Bidoof bites the opponent with 2% damage, for a maximum of 4 times.
- 2% damage each hit -

Forward Throw - Take Down
Bidoof drops the opponent, but before he touches the ground, he tackles him with his head, with too much strength. The opponent receives 15% damage with Medium Knockback, but Bidoof also receives 5% damage, with Minimum Knockback.
- 15% damage, 5% to himself -

Back Throw - Amnesia
A purple aura surrounds Bidoof, and his eyes turn purple. At the same time, the opponent's eyes turn purple. Many little purple question marks appear over the opponent's head and they enroll around him. They bring him by levitation behind Bidoof, and then the Beaver Pokémon turns and tackles him away. Has a 3 seconds start lag, it takes 2 more seconds to bring the opponent behind Bidoof, but has destructive power. 13% damage with High Knockback.
Pshychic Bonus : This move has a bonus effect for being a psychic type move. There's 50% chances that the opponent will be confused. When confused the opponent's controls are reversed and he receives 1% damage per second, the opponent is confused for 5 seconds.
- 13% damage -

Up Throw - Frustration
Bidoof headbutts the enenmy in the chest, stunning them. Then, with his head, he throws them high in the air. This attack has a 2 seconds start lag. But it does 10% damage with Mid-High Knockback.
- 10% damage -

Down Throw - Stomp
Bidoof throws the opponent on the ground with his teeth. He hops in the air and smashes the enemy with his entire body. This has a 2 seconds start lag. Does 11% damage with Mid-Low Knockback. This attack is quite powerful.
- 11% damage -

- Final Smash -

Final Smash - Superpower Evolution
Bidoof is surrounded by blue light, and then, he evolves. He becomes Bibarel! Bibarel stands up and has an angry look on his face. He starts jumping and stomping on the ground. On all the floor or platform he his actually, the ground becomes sharp stone spikes, hurting anybody on it of 20% damage with High Knockback. If done in air, Bibarel will jump, and stomp on the ground, then the effect will be activated. If done offscreen or over nothing, Bibarel falls and dies. Next, anybody touching Bibarel would recieve 35% damage with Very High Knockback. For the final hit, two giant boulders of the size of Mario using his taunt appear in each top corner of the stage, spinning and floating during 3 seconds. Then they're launched to the opposite corner, at the bottom. ( Top right goes at Bottom Left ) If anybody is touched by one of the boulders, he'll receive 25% damage with Maximum Knockback. Then he turns back into Bidoof!
- 20% damage, 30% damage and 25% damage -

- Playstyle -

Biting Hard Is the Key!
Bidoof mainly uses biting attack, because of his long and strong teeth. He also uses a lot of tackling attacks like Headbutt and Take Down. He can almost be put in the Power packed chars section, even with his tiny size. Most of his moves are laggy, so do not expect to do a fast attack here and there. He should be used like Link or Ike, in terms of speed.

In power, he doesn't have any weak spots. His weakest attack is his Pummeling! Which often does 6% damage, but can do 8% if the opponent doesn't get away from you. If an opponent is trapped by Pitfalls or if he is grabbed by somebody use, Hyper Fang! This attack should destroy the opponent, and 100% sure KO him if he has a lot of %. His traction is not so bad, you can dodge easily. In terms of range he also is quite good! The Wall Cling is another of his advantages

Falling Speed, Laq, Attack Speed and Movement speed are his biggest problems. He falls quite fast, but is recovery can still help him a lot to get back on stage! The lag cannot really be helped, you just have to hit hard, when you must. Attack Speed is wek, but still not so bad. He can do some quite fast combos in the hands of a pro. For movement speed, just do not expect him to reach high speeds like Capt. Falcon and Sonic!

*Sends Sundance _______________ on __________ Day,
Meh I guess I'll just post it now seeing is it's really not that big of a deal.

My first moveset I have decided to do for MYM5 is...

Yuna

Yuna will use her dresspheres to her advantage, moving quickly between her Warrior, Thief, Gunner and Summoner dresspheres. This moveset will be like having four separate characters, each having their own moveset. Yay! Rejoice!

You missed a few movesets, for the most part. HR and Spade are the MYM5 sandbags. This one ends on the 28th (Though I think you already know that).

Not much, really.

CRUXIS!

Are you going to continue your SSE?

@Bidoof - I love it! It has a simple but deadly presentation and the moves are all fun to read. The side effects are cool too, except Ice Fang which is too broken if you think of how easy it is to gimp with it, if the foe is frozen. Such simplicity! Such originality!

Vote

EDIT: Cruxis I'll be starting a game with Game Maker, with MYM chars! I'll add movesets with sprites, and no complicated mechanics. But it's early now as this will be ready in a long time.

Bidoof is pretty great. It's amazing how every single attack actually features in the games. He knows more than 4 though! I think he has too many 50% chances for stuff though, some of that stuff's pretty nasty.

Ryuk has been altered a little to nerf his Up-special, attack damage and the D-smash has a useful charge now.

Wow I just realized how broken Bidoof is.

One ice fang off stage = death. 5 seconds? Really? Broken.

@Bidoof: Okay, some moves have a TON of start-up lag, 2.5 seconds is as long as a Warlock Punch. And there is too many "50% chance" moves to my liking, and Ice Fang would be instant death if the opponents of the stage (2 seconds is better IMO). Other than that, it's an exceptional set

HURRAY FOR CRUXIS'S RETURN!!!

If you haven't seen them already, go and read my Undead Hero and AOSTH/YTP Robotnik!!! Undeads my Golden set to some, and so is AOSTH Robotnik to the others!

You missed some amazing sets and discussions!

It's nice you're back!

Bidoof looks very good, but some of the moves do seem broken, and you could stall with Dig.
However, I did enjoy this moveset, and I so expected Starly to be featured as either an assist trophy or Pokeball Pokemon.

I'm being nit-picky now, but the picture of Bidoof you have used is female, as it only has 3 tail things, yet you refer to it as a male .

Heh, a wise one for following the route of DFM. ;)

Oh, and news on Battalion Army, I've finished the neutral B and A, and I hopefully think that I will make every Infantry as balanced as possible, and reasons why to choose Soldiers over Ground and air vehicles! This set might be more strageic than Undead hero, and is for players only that are quick thinking, got epic mindgames, this is definetly not a casual characters! The Grunt you're playing is extremly weak without his support, and if you'll find yourself by just with one person, you will most likely kiss good-bye to one of your stocks!

NO PREVIEWS FOR BATTALION ARMY NOR DISASTER, IF YA DON'T LIKE IT, TOUGH!

No previews, form you? You posted almost half of Undead Person in previews last time.

Wise indeed. :bee:

So, I just wrote up Green Toad's Fair, you have to see it. It's probably the most original attack I've ever written.

Fair - Pickax Slam
Green Toad slams forward his pickax. It does 11 damage, and can powerfully spike if you hit with the very tip o the pickax. If not, it does medium horizontal knockback. This has medium starting lag, and high ending lag, during which he flips, centrifugal force spinning him. It has high range, becasue the pickax gets a bit bigger when he does it. This is best used as a gimping move, becasue of the spike. If someone is hit by the pickax while he is doing the flip, they receive very low vertical knockback.

Isn't that original!:bee:

I will not read Bidoof. Why? First, I don't like doing so, and second I'm Already voting for Pokey.
No previews, form you? You posted almost half of Undead Person in previews last time.

Wise indeed. :bee:

Very Original, Baloo. ...Great.... maybe sometime I'll make a moveset on Baloo with a Little John alt costume.

Baloo, read this: you don't have to do the mechanic I used. I'll still enjoy it.

That was sarcasm, if you didn't notice. he has two sets of aerials, Pickax and ?????s. The ones with ???????s are not so generic.

And I was just typing up the thing for it, kitsuneko. He can make blocks to climb up and attack from, like your mechanic said.

Why do you think Baloo? I go from one extreme to the other. I made myself a promise that I will never post a preview UNLESS I want help or suggestions to make it more balanced etc!

I'm now on the SS "Anti Air Preview" Chillzmemes train!

And man that's an Treasure of a move, so... Original!!11!!

Wow, Bidoof looks good! If I get enough posts I might vote for it!

@Baloo: What are the other things, the ???????s? And I saw you're doing Rat from PBS, lol. Can't wait for that one.

You've all been waiting for it, here it is, Bidoof joins the Brawl!

I enjoyed this. I'm impressed at how much you did with such a, well, a rather pathetic Pokemon, really.

Hey, guys. Gee what I miss? Wow I come back and someone is gonna make Yuna. Beat me to it. Oh well im lazy anyway.
CRUXIS, YOU'RE BACK!!!!

You missed. . .a lot. I don't even know where to start.

Question, Frogman: Is Battalion Army going to be posted in MYM 4 or 5?

Original, indeed. But I must get picky (no pun intended) about one thing. Centrifugal force is a reactive pseudo-force that pushes something away from what it's revolving around. I hate to chop it down from sounding cooler like that, but all you're looking at here is momentum.

Yes, Rat is funny.

Fine, I'll tell you all: Star Bits.

You do know that I was being sarcastic, I hope. It just a generic pickax swing.

And I'll put in momentum instead.

MYM5, my Supreme Sandbag Superior, heck, i've only just started his side-b. Disaster could get posted tonight if I wanted to finish the extras, but i'm giving myself time so that I can work on sets at a steady pace, and he's for MYM5 as well anyway!

Lol, of course I knew you were being sarcastic. You gotta expect people to play along with sarcasm like that, no? ;)

I see. Well, one of the armies will simply have to make a guest appearance across MYMs in someone's SM, then.

I have actually been busy this past hour, working on one of my movesets, which should be ready next week.
I haven't started on anything proper, but I have all attack names, and intro, and two special mechanics.

Here is an anagram of its name :bee:
Freeman Final Pee

Yep. I had it coming. Stupid apathy.
EPIC WIN!!! I'm Baaaaack. *maniacal laughter* [/spam]

@ Tornadith(wherever the hell he is): I was looking through my stuff today, and I found the Jiminy's Journal that came with the collector's edition of the KH2 strategy guide. Luxord's entry is exactly this: "Organization XIII's Number X, a gambler who can manipulate time." I was right.

@ Jimny: Ummm... is it Eddie Murphie?

@H_R: Yes. Yay, indeed.

I've already played it, 2 times, and feel it pointless to play a game a 3rd time just to hear a characters voice or know what their powers are. BTW, he was even voiced by an Englishman. 3 things that prove that Luxord is indeed English. 1-Accent. 2-VA. 3-Facial hair. Yes, the 3rd reason is a little on the foolish side, but his beard style is indeed of English origin.
