Make Your Move
My fourth moveset in this contest. Due to my roots as an "FE fanboy," I aspire to make atleast one moveset from the Fire Emblem series in each contest. This is that set. Hopefully, this will make it's name as the first truly great FE set. This set, I hope, will also raise support for one of SSB4's prime Fire Emblem candidates. It is Sheeda, as she was first named, the "first lady" of Fire Emblem. Not only is she the first female character that was ever seen by the players in Fire Emblem 1 (in Shadow Dragon the first female character to be seen is Elice, if you are playing Normal Mode), but she is also the first character to have a love interest with the main character of a Fire Emblem game.

Sheeda/Shiida/Caeda

Tales of Talys~ Story

According to the Fire Emblem Wiki.

Shiida (as translated in the European version and in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, also translated Sheeda in the Japanese version and Caeda in the American version) is the pure hearted princess and Pegasus Knight of Talys. She is the childhood friend of Marth and they grew up together. She joins Marth in his quest, staying by his side most of the time and is also responsible of recruiting various people, including Castor, Nabarl, and Lorenz. In the end of Marth's battle against Medeus, Shiida eventually becomes Marth's fiancée.

Several years after the battle, Shiida moved to Altea and was welcomed warmly. Unfortunately, shortly after Marth left on request of King Hardin, Altea was attacked and was mostly taken over. Marth's sister, Elice, surrendered herself, giving Shiida a chance to escape and to reunite with Marth. Once again, she accompanied Marth in his new quest and eventually in the end of it, they were married.

Shiida seems protective of Marth, yet at the same time she does not want to be a distraction to him, so she tends to avoid him at times. She seems to care about him more than she does herself, noting at the end of Monshō no Nazo (Fire Emblem 3) that she once prayed to the gods that if he had to die, they should take her life instead.

More Than A Pretty Face~ Pros

Best melee attack reach in the game on many spear moves.
Good balance of speed and power.
Versatile set of attacks.
Has a roll attack.
Counters weapon based characters.
Great recovery.
Wrath gives Shiida a lot of power potential.
Good Final Smash.
Great traction.
Good attack priority due to disjointed hitboxes

Why Can't I Be Top Tier!?~ Cons

Tall character.
Light (even lighter than Marth).
Has a number of punishable attacks.
Wrath is very risky.
Lacks a reliable projectile.
Can't short hop well.

Representing Talys~ Play As

Offense

Shiida doesn't combo very well, rather relying on single or multi-hit attacks to deal damage. While it is tempting to use Wrath to double your damage output, doing so is very risky. Wrath is only recommended when the foe has high damage and you seek to finish them off. Impale is one damage dealing option, as it deals damage while you play defensive. It comes at the downside of disabling most of your moveset, so I would recommend that you don't use it, unless you intend on relying on your grabs and roll attack for damage. With such offensive versatility, it is pretty much up to you and the situation to decide which move is right.

Defense

Shiida has a pretty normal defensive game for the most part. Her dodges are basically average, but she does have a roll attack to provide more defensive, offensive, and spacing options. Canto is similar to using your roll attack, but far more useful in general. Up Smash is great for anti-air defense. Down Special is an alternative to spot dodging (except against grabs) and it can really hurt weapon-based characters. Shiida also has a variety of spacing or anti-approach options, such as Side Tilt.

Defeating Royalty~ Play Against

Offense

Shiida will try to properly space herself from you while hitting you with lengthy attacks. She doesn't respond very well to a fast character being in her face, so you may want to pressure her. If you are a weapon based character, you really need to look out for her Disarm move (down special). If playing as either of the Links, always keep a bomb on hand to prevent your weapon from being removed. Projectiles are an effective means of combating Sheeda, as she only has one pseudo-projectile of her own (up special). Just make sure you don't use that gun or bow when you are next to her, or you may find yourself being stripped of that weapon. She is light, but can recover very well, so a killing move is often necessary to KO her, even at reasonably high percentages.

Defense

Shiida needs to get within spear reach to attack (and will attempt to keep shorter reaching characters out of attack reach of herself), so you have two options. Get up close and pressure her or camp, using projectiles to out-distance her. While defensive game is different for every character, they all generally follow a strategy like this. Weapon based characters need to be careful to avoid having their weapon removed.

Strength of Talys~ Stats

Height~ Tall
Shiida is roughly the height of Zero Suit Samus.

Weight~ Light
Sheeda is a bit lighter than Marth.

Wall Jump~ None

Wall Cling~ None

Width~ Slender
Again, comparable to Zero Suit Samus.

Walk Speed~ Slow
She's a girl. Enjoy watching her walk.

Dash Speed~ Fast
Shiida's is one of the game's faster runners, being just faster than Marth.

Average Attack Reach~ High
Best (non-projectile) attack reach in the game with spear moves.

Average Attack Power~ Medium
Shiida's power is pretty much right in the middle of the cast.

Average Attack Speed~ Medium
Shiida's attack speed is very well balanced.

Average Attack Priority~ Good
Shiida's priority is above average, as most of her attacks are disjointed.

Secondary Weapon Reach~ Great
Shidda's rapier is roughly the length of Marth's sword.

First Jump~ Great
Shiida's spear is a great weapon for pole-vaulting. This gives her an impressive vertical recovery, but a bad short hop.

Second Jump~ Good Vertical, Meh Horizontal
Shiida's second jump gets good vertical distance and rather meh horizontal distance.

Falling Speed~ Slow
Shiida is one of the more floaty characters, falling only a bit faster than Peach.

Recovery~ Great
Shiida's recovery is effective as it gives her great distance horizontally and vertically.

Traction~ Great
Is a graceful princess going to trip often? Probably not. She also turns pretty easily.

Dodges~ Medium
Despite being graceful, her reflexes aren't that great.

Final Smash~ Good
Shiida's Final Smash gives her good power, super armor, and flight for a good duration. She is still vulnerable to damage.

Crouch~ None

Crawl~ None

Glide~ None

Grace of Talys~ Animations

Standing Pose
The one pictured.

Idle Pose
Nearly identical to Marth's, Shiida moves her hand over her hair. She then cycles into an animation where she hugs herself.

Walking
Though not the most feminine girl in Fire Emblem, Shiida still walks like a girl. Not really much to say.

Dashing
Shiida drops much of her feminine qualities and starts acting like a fighter. She ducks down a bit, running quickly while holding her current weapon is pointed behind her in her right hand.

First Jump
Shiida pole-vaults using her spear. This is a great jump but can't short hop well.

Second Jump
Shiida does a double flip jump, giving her some good vertical height. Limited control can be used to increase horizontal distance.

Shield
Shiida moves her spear in front of her and holds it with both hands as the typical bubble shield, this time red, forms around her.

Sidestep
Shiida barely moves towards the background, looking graceful as she does so, while guarding with her current weapon.

Forward Roll
Shiida jumps forward while turning around and ducking a bit. Her left hand is on the hilt of her sword (like in the picture). When this ends, she is facing the direction opposite of her original direction.

Back Roll
Shiida jumps back with her left hand on the hilt of her sword (like in the picture).

Air Dodge
Shiida spins 360 degrees while guarding the front of her body with her current weapon type while guarding behind her with her sword.

Talents of Talys~ Specials

Neutral Special~ Wrath

Shiida enters a new, more agressive stance. Being a stance, this has no lag on either end. The only evidence of this move being in effect is the lack of an idle pose and a more fierce standing pose. For 5 seconds, Shiida's attacks have a 50% chance to Auto-Miss, but in return, the remaining 50% of attacks deal critical damage, inflicting double damage and 20% additional knockback. Missing with attacks means that you will probably be punished, so don't maintain this constantly and use it with caution. Pressing Neutral B again will renew the stance.

Side Special~ Impale

Shiida stabs forward. Medium lag on both ends. Great reach. High priority. Medium hitstun. Deals 7% damage and decent knockback. Your spear is now stuck into the foe, dealing 1% per second. Wrath combines with this for an unlimited duration, dealing 2% per second to the foe if you were using Wrath when you impaled them. While the foe is impaled, Shiida loses the ability to perform moves involving the spear (most of her set as a Soldier). Press Side Special again while within Impale's reach of the foe to grab the spear and pull it out of the foe, inflicting an additional 5% and flinching (Wrath does not apply to this part of the move). While you lack your spear, your first jump becomes identical to your second. This move is useful for inflicting massive damage over time to the foe and allowing you to put more emphasis on defense. It is definitely recommended that you combine this move with Wrath.

Up Special~ Tear

When you press the Up Special input, Shiida will put her fingers in her mouth, like someone does when they are about to whistle loudly. Hold the B button and you will notice that you can move a targeter to the left and right of Shiida (it moves downwards as she falls, if she is in the air). Release B and Shiida will whistle and her pegasus will swoop down from the sky, forming a type of arc, known in algebra as a "quadratic". The arc is wide, measuring 7 stage builder blocks apart at its highest points. The lowest point of the arc is the selected spot. Once it reaches that point, it will immediately fly upwards quickly. The downwards swoop happens in an amazing 1/4 second, but the upwards flying is at the speed Pit's arrows fly. Foes struck by the Pegasus on the way down take 10% and are spiked downwards and to the direction the Pegasus swooped. If you just press Up B, or if you target it right on Shiida, she will mount the Pegasus, flying upwards with it. You can press Up B again or use a jump button to dismount. This makes a great, but gimpable recovery. This move has low lag on both ends, not counting charge time.

Down Special~ Disarm

Shiida enters a defensive stance. What? You mean to tell me that you have given her a generic counter? Nope. Rather than countering normally, Shiida will steal the foes weapon (if they are holding one) and then push them away 3 stage builder blocks. She will drop the weapon on the ground. This can be used to steal the weapons of sword characters (and other weapon characters), as well as stealing guns and bows (if you counter their projectile right next to the enemy), and items such as Link's Bombs. If Shiida picked up an item instead of a weapon, she will keep it in hand, rather than dropping it. Items take priority over character weapons (so Link players may always want to keep a bomb on hand when facing Shiida). This counter has roughly the same frames as Marth's counter, except that the counter frames start a bit later and end a bit later. To gain their weapon back, the owner must walk over to the weapon and pick it up (they are the only ones who can pick it up). To maximize the usefulness of this counter, attempt to keep the foe away from their weapon for as long as possible. This counter is useful for shutting down those annoying disjointed sword characters, as, without their weapon, they will only be able to swing their arms (or in the case of guns + bows, perform a fake motion that does nothing), greatly reducing their reach and priority.

Feisty Princess~ Normal Attacks

Neutral A~ Triple Combo
Unlike most A comboes, this occurs all in one button press, so use it wisely, or else you will likely be punished.
Shiidda stabs forward, dealing 2% and flinching with good hitstun. This has medium beginning lag, high priority, and high horizontal reach. She then swings her spear upwards in a wide arc until the spear reaches a point behind her, damaging enemies in all directions for 2% and flinching with good hitstun. High reach all around and good priority. She finishes by spining the spear around 3 times very quickly and stabbing forwards with both hands (a wind mark indicates the force used), dealing 5% and high horizontal knockback with no hitstun, high reach, and good priority. Foes struck by the spear spin (behind Shiida) will take 3 hits of 1% damage. This has fairly high ending lag.

Dash Attack~ Canto

The easiest way to sum up this move is hit and run. Shiida will stab forwards while running, dealing 6% and decent knockback. High reach in front of Shiida, good priority, and medium hitstun. She will then rapidly turn and dash the other way at twice her normal speed for a distance of 5 stage builder blocks, or until she reaches the edge of the stage, whichever comes first. This dash attack has low beginning lag and medium ending lag. Oddly, Shiida is able to run through foes while performing the dash attack (the stab automatically happening after a running distance of roughly 2 stage builder blocks forward) and you can reverse the stab by hitting backwards on the control stick before it happens. It gets even more strange, as when you do this, Shiida will "reverse" her running direction, continuing the dash forwards, rather than running in the opposite direction. This is simply referred to as reverse Canto.

Roll Attack~ Riposte
If you press A while performing a roll dodge, Shiida will quickly pull out her rapier with her free hand and slash in the direction she is facing. Great reach in that direction. High priority. No hitstun. Low lag on both ends. Deals 5% and medium knockback in that direction. This is a decent option to help both your offensive and defensive games.

Spearhead's Point~ Tilts

Side Tilt~ Mercy

Shiida swings her spear from behind her back to all the way in front of her and to her back on the opposite side (from left to right). This has medium lag on both ends. High reach. Good priority. This deals 10% and stuns the foe for 2 seconds (they are invincible the entire time, though you can grab them to break them out of it). The invincibility frames last for a few frames after the stun ends, so I wouldn't recommend trying to wait by them to use this a second time. This is mostly used as a defensive mechanism, allowing you to end the foes approach or keep your distance from the foe.

Up Tilt~ Luna

Shiida turns toward the players while swinging her spear from her right side to her left side over her head, creating a giant red crescent trail. This move has fairly high beginning lag and medium ending lag. There is a lingering effect, as the trail stays for a few frames after the swing. High reach above Shiida and great reach on both sides. Good priority. No hitstun. Deals 9% and good upwards knockback.

Down Tilt~ Shove

Shiida pushes forwards with both of her (open) hands. This has low lag on both ends if it misses. If it hits, there is medium ending lag, as Shiida will giggle. Medium reach and below average priority. No hitstun. If this hits, it pushes the foe 3 stage builder blocks forward and knocks them to the ground, "tripping" them and dealing 5% to them. Has some combo potential, particularly in doubles, though it is far from one of Shiida's most useful moves.

Strong With A Spear~ Smashes

Side Smash~ Rend

Shiida rears her spear back and thrusts it forward using both hands. A large red trail is left in its wake. This has high lag on both ends, not counting charge time. High reach in front of Shiida. Good priority. No hitstun. Deals 12% and great knockback in the direction Shiida is facing. Foes struck will start "bleeding." Red waves burst out of them at intervals of once every 3 seconds for the next 15 seconds, dealing 1...5% each time. A powerful move for damage, as it can deal up to a mighty 37% (12% + 5(5%) = 37%) over the course of 15 seconds. Only one bleeding effect can stay on the same foe at a time, so additional uses of Rend will only cause the base 12%.

Up Smash~ Maelstrom

Shiida rapidly swings her spear above her head, dealing 1% damage per hit (total of 10 hits). This has fairly high beginning lag. This has good reach above Shiida, though she doesn't utilize the full reach of the spear. Low priority. Low hitstun. Why would you even use this move? The rapid swings whip up mighty gusts, 10 total. Each gust deals no damage and great...very high upwards knockback. The gusts reach high above Shiida, roughly a stage builder block above her max spear reach. High ending lag. Has a duration of roughly 3 seconds. A great move for killing foes and defending against aerial assaults, but highly punishable.

Down Smash~ Spear Storm
Shiida swings her spear twice horizontally. This has fairly high beginning lag. Each swing deals 3...5% and low horizontal knockback with great reach in front of Shiida, high priority, and low hitstun. She then proceeds to swing her spear around over her head, hitting both sides. These swings have great reach on both sides of Shiida with good priority. Above Shiida, this provides low reach and low priority. Low hitstun. The latter swings continue until you release A, each swing dealing 3...5% and below average horizontal knockback. When you release A, she will put more power into the last swing, shown by the spear leaving a large red trail in the air, dealing 5...9% and good horizontal knockback. High ending lag (about 3/4 of a second). There is low lag between swings, without about 2.5 hits per second. While she does the constant spear swings, Shiida can be controlled to move left and right with the control stick. This move can be useful for comboes against foes with poor DI and as a defensive move, though an attack from above can easily shatter the combo, allowing the foe to punish Shiida.

Personally, She Prefers The Air~ Aerials

Neutral Aerial~ Eclipse

Shiida swings her spear (which shines gold) from over her head, to behind and below her while turning towards the players, forming a giant pale blue crescent that reaches a great distance above her, a high distance in front of her, and a high distance below her. The blue trail lingers briefly after the swing has been made, giving the move a lingering effect. This attack has fairly high lag on both ends. If Sheeda hits the ground, the attack will end prematurely, but the lag will be cancelled. High priority. No hitstun. This deals 12% damage. The knockback of the move is rather weird. The spear will scoop the foe and send them flying diagonally downwards in the direction behind Shiida (for good knockback in that direction). It isn't a meteor or spike, but, at higher percentages, it can work as a pseudo-meteor.

Forward Aerial~ Sol

Shiida's spear shines very brightly, turning its spearhead golden, as she stabs forward the full length of spear. High beginning lag and low ending lag. High reach in front of Shiida. Below average priority. No hitstun. If this strikes a foe, they take 7% and decent knockback in the direction Shiida is facing. In addition, Shiida is healed for 1% for every 10% damage the foe had, making this attack very effective at healing against foes with a high longevity (200% damage = 20% healing). She will continue to use this if she hits the ground. This move is quite predictable and easy to counter, however, so the foe should be able to avoid it if they are of a decent skill level.

Back Aerial~ Adept

Shiida's turns around completely, much like Marth's Bair, and swings her spear twice horizontally, staying in her new direction after the move ends. Low beginning lag and fairly low ending lag. High reach. Good priority. No hitstun. Each swing deals 9% and good horizontal knockback. At high enough percentages or with good opposing DI, it is highly unlikely that both swings will hit.

Up Aerial~ Colossus

Shiida jumps identically to her 2nd jump. When she reaches the maximum height, she will swing her weapon horizontally in the direction she is facing. The attack has medium beginning lag. High reach in front of Shiida's new position. Good priority. No hitstun. Deals 10% damage and good horizontal knockback to those struck by it. While it seems like this would give Shiida a huge recovery through multi-uses, it has huge ending lag that neutralizes the gained height. This ending lag can be cancelled by using your true second jump, allowing this to help your recovery with one use. Also, if Shiida reaches the ledge after this move ends, she will grab it. Does not leave her helpless.

Down Aerial~ Vantage

Vantage is a very weird aerial. In Fire Emblem, this allows its user to always strike first (or in Radiant Dawn, it only works with a % activation). Rather than performing a normal attack, it detects attacks below it. If a foe (or ally with friendly fire on) is using an attack within the maximum spear reach (high) below Shiida, she will attack very quickly, having no beginning lag at all. Deals damage equal to that of the detected attack (or double that of the attack with a 50% fail rate if Wrath is active) and spikes the foe downwards. This has no ending lag if it is successful. If it is unsuccessful, Shiida will be highly vulnerable for nearly a second. This is kind of like a pseudo-counter.

Saving Face~ Situationals

Rising Attack~ Slap
How dare you knock down a lady! Shiida jumps to her feet and slaps the nearest foe (if one is in range), dealing 10% and great horizontal knockback to them. Low lag on both ends if there is no slap, medium ending lag if there is. The slap has good reach, high priority, and high (comical) hitstun.

Ledge Attack~ Rapier
Sheeda draws the sword on her hip with her left and and slashes forwards with it very quickly. Nearly no lag on either end. Great reach and priority. No hitstun. Deals 5% and decent horizontal knockback.

A Feminine Touch~ Grabs + Throws

*Note that Shiida cannot chain grab.

Grab~ Swoon
When you press the Z button, the nearest foe within the normal grab reach of Shiida will fall in love with her (yes, even girls :bee:) and start drooling pathetically, kind of like Roger in the conversation where she recruits him to the group. Shiida is not feeling the love, despite fooling the foe into thinking she is. This has higher beginning lag than most grabs, but it is much more difficult to escape than the norm.

Grab Attack~ Slap
The foe makes a move on her and Shiida slaps them across the face. Bad pervert! Deals 5%. High beginning lag and low ending lag. Only recommended that you use this grab attack once before throwing the foe.

Forward Throw~ Astra

Shiida swings her spear at the "grabbed" foe 5 times very quickly, dealing 15% (3% per hit) and knocking the foe away a short distance. Medium ending lag. A great throw for damage, but not for killing.

Back Throw~ Resolve

Shiida grabs the foe, lifts them over her head while rolling backward, and kicks them behind her. This has medium lag on both ends. Deals 1% damage + one level of knockback (none at 0-9%, low, below average, medium, above average, good, great, high, very high) for every 10% damage Sheeda has, making this a great throw against characters who have a difficult time killing and/or Sheeda players who are skilled at surviving a lot of damage.

Up Throw~ Savior

Shiida's pegasus flies down from the sky and "rescues" the foe in an FE style (with the character portrait in a little box that covers part of the pegasus's body to represent the fact that it is carrying someone). It will then fly to the top of the screen. The foe must use controller input to escape (and it becomes increasingly more difficult at higher percentages), or else they will be dragged out of the screen and KO'd. A good throw for high percentage KO's, KO's against nooby players, or for getting the foe into the air.

Down Throw~ Bane

Shiida pulls out her rapier and slashes the "grabbed" foe with both hands on the sword, turning around and saying "Hmph" as she does so. That foe takes very high horizontal knockback and their damage percentage is reset to 1%. Has medium beginning lag and low ending lag. A very effective throw for killing foes, but be sure you are going to kill them, as resetting their damage percentage to 1% is very harmful to you if it does not kill.

Final Smash~ Falcon Knight

Shiida's pegasus flies down, now with armor protecting it. She mounts it. For 30 seconds, Shiida has Super Armor and can fly around the stage at will, striking with her spear. Wrath no longer penalizes Shiida and it is constantly active.

She also gets a couple changes to her set.

Neutral Special~ Savior

I know what you are thinking. This is her Up Throw. In a manner, yes it is. Press B and Shiida's pegasus will rescue the nearest foe within 1 stage builder block of it. The difference this time, is that Shiida is mount pegasus and has full control over where the foe gets brought. Controller input still allows foes to escape.

Up Special~ Stun

Shiida's pegasus performs a massive wheeling swoop, flying a circumference of 5 stage builder blocks in all directions from the point Shiida used this move. Foes struck will take 20% damage (including the Wrath bonus) and be stunned for 5 seconds. If they are struck by this move again, the stun time is renewed. After the end of this move, Shiida flies back to her original point. The entire duration of the move is about a second and it has low lag on both ends.

Assist Trophy~ Xane

Xane is one of the most unique characters in the Fire Emblem universe. He was a manakete, but he somehow lost his power to become a dragon. Instead, he gained the ability to shapeshift into anyone (including women), gaining not only only their appearance, but also their abilities temporarily. Xane is effiminate, possibly even homosexual, making that shapeshifting power potentially disturbing.

When summoned from the Assist Trophy, Xane will start morphing into a character. This takes 3 seconds, during which time he is vulnerable and has 20 hp. After the 3 seconds, he will turn into an exact copy of the nearest character and becomes invincible.. He lasts for a full minute on the field, so it is the best interest of the opponent to eliminate him while he is vulnerable. His AI is very intelligent, not SD'ing or anything. While invinceable, he no longer needs to play defensively, rather going all out offense against the foe(s) of the person who summoned him.

Awesome Sheeda set Chris, loved the down special especially, all in all I'd definately say that's one of the better Fire Emblem sets I've seen, MISHUN COMPRETE![/MeleeFox]

In othe news, I'm working on a set I didn't announce when MYM5 came out, progress on it is coming along quite well.

I love that Sheeda set. The moves have various tweaks that change them from generic to intresting, and you showed great creativity in some. My only complaint is that she seems a bit too strong, having good speed, strength, and plenty of KO moves. A wonderful set, overall.

Blinx the Time Controlling Cat

Overview: Microsoft’s failed attempt at a mascot falls into the SSB universe to prove himself to the likes of Sonic and Mario.

General Appearance: He appears just as he did in Blinx: The Time Sweeper, he has his little blue sweater, red pants (the color of his clothes will change if you switch the color, duh), some sweet goggles, his little pimp shoes, and of course he has his signature vacuum which he will either hold in both hands or keep slung behind his back (for his general stance the vacuum will be on his back, it will only come out for specific attacks and specials).

General Stats:
Height: 6/10 he’s a cat, so I would imagine he is about as tall as Fox.
Weight: 5/10 he will leave the stage as fast as he left the videogame industry.
Running Speed: 6/10 he’s not the quickest cat on the block.
First Jump: 7/10 his cat like agility gives him an average jump at best.
Second Jump: 4/10 once this cat leaves center stage he’s gonna have some trouble getting back into the lime light if he’s just relying on his jumps.
Fall Speed: 8/10 when you always land on your feet, it doesn’t matter how fast you fall.
Crouch: 8/10 sneaky cat stealth allows him to get low to the ground to avoid enemy attacks
Crawling: Nope
Wall Jump: Yes
Wall Cling: Sort of, he clings to the wall with all four and slides downwards at a constant rate, his claws kind of suck.

After the name of each move I have the moves priority on a scale from 1 to 10 (1 being bad, 10 being good).

Standard Attacks:

A Combo:
Suck and hit (8)= Blinx whips out the vacuum the first time you press A and gives a good suck (lasts about as long as Kirby’s B if you just tap it) that will knock anyone off balance (they go into their on the edge of the stage animation and cant move) and brings them right in front of Blinx in this helpless state. This part of the attack has the range of Ikes fsmash and does no damage. Pressing A again causes Blinx to do a quick roundhouse kick with his pimp shoes that does minimal knockback and 5%.

Dash Attack:
Pounce (3)=Blinx dives forward with his hands out in front of him (think of a cat pouncing on something). This attack does 4 consecutive hits, first hit does 4%, the second hit does 3%, third hit does 2%, and final hit does 1%. So depending on what part of the animation the attack connects on, it can do anywhere from 1-10%. When Blinx lands after the pounce, he lands on his hands and does a small front hand spring back to his feet which makes some ending lag that makes this move punishable if missed/spammed.

F-Tilt:
Record Cartwheel (7)= For those of you that didn’t play Blinx: The Time Sweeper, one of his abilities is to record his actions, then time rewinds and a green clone of himself will do that exact action. So basically, Blinx squats like he’s gonna do a cartwheel, but instead, he stays in place and green version of himself appears from out of nowhere and does the cartwheel just in front of Blinx to do 15% and sends the opponent upwards with decent knockback.

U-Tilt
Frantic Claw (8)=Blinx gets on his tipie-toes and frantically swipes his claws above his head 3 times to do multiple hits that do 3% for each hit (9% is dealt if all three hits are landed) and knocks the enemy upwards with pretty low knockback (good set up for arial combos).

D-tilt:
Jig (5) = Blinx kicks out his feet twice in a little dance to do two 2% kicks with his pimp shoes (total of 4% in damage). The first hit stuns the enemy long enough so that the second hit (which will trip the opponent) will always hit as long as the first hit connects.

F-Smash
Recording Destruction (8) = Blinx does a little round house kick that does 2% and stuns the enemy in place sort of like the first hit of Toon Links F-smash, then out of nowhere BAM! Green Blinx does a two foot arial kick (think Fox’s F-smash from Smash 64) that does 18% and can kill from 115% and up (if not stale and we are talking Brawl, not Brawl +) If the attack is charged, green Blinx will do a drill kick that lands an additional two hits (ranging from 2-4% each depending on the charge time) before dealing the regular 18% and greater knockback (so this move can do up to 28% if fully charged).

U-Smash
Slow Crush (10)= This attack only affects enemies that approach Blinx from above him, but because of it’s situational use, it is pretty powerful. The first hit of this attack is purely for show and does no damage, Blinx quickly swipes his hand in an arc above his head to create a yellow (the color of slow-time in the game) aura above his head, any enemy trapped in this aura looses all their momentum and moves slowly towards Blinx, and they have no choice but to watch helplessly as he performs the next phase of the attack (which will hit them…every time). The second part of the attack is Blinx removing his vacuum from his back and he swings it like a hammer through the yellow aura to do 20% (25% fully charged) and massive upwards knockback that could be labled at a middle ground between both Fox and Lucas’ U-smashes. After executing the attack, BLinx takes the time to put his vacuum back on his back, which leaves him open for a couple of frames.

D-Smash
Bombs Away (6)= One item Blinx could use in the game were bombs that he shot out of his vacuum. Basically, Blinx jumps slightly off of the ground and shoots a bomb out of his vacuum at the ground (very similar speed and animation to Fox/Falco’s down throw) creating an explosion that does radial damage that’s about a little bigger than a bob-omb’s explosion. This attack does 10% (14% fully charged) and sends enemy’s at an upward angle with medium knockback, this move is pretty fast and has no killing potential.

Arials

Nair:
Stretch (5) = Blinx stretches his arms in front of him and kicks his legs behind him and holds the position (sexkick) to do about 8% and do low knock back.

Fair:
Record Swing (10) = Blinx glows green momentarily, then swings his arms in front of him, only a green Blinx is holding onto his hands and hits any opponent a full body length in front of him. This move has a somewhat slow start up, but has ridiculous range and good power and knockback. Deals 12% and KO’s around 115%.

Bair:
Double Strike (first hit-7, second hit-9) = Blinx removes his vacuum from his back and swings it behind him twice at a pretty slow rate (think slightly faster than Kirby’s arial hammer). The first swing is at an angle parallel to the stage and does 10% and knocks the enemy back at an upwards angle with no KO potential. The second hit however, is done at a downwards angle and does 20% and spikes the enemy. If the enemy is over 50% there is no return from this spike (so basically after the 20% initial damage, Blinx can basically spike at 30%).

Uair:
Blow (10 or 1 depending on how you look at it): Blinx points his vacuum upwards and sets it to blow and sends the enemy upwards at a faster and more powerfull rate than G&W’s Uair, but because its more powerful, Blinx will be sent downwards similarly to Ivysaur when he uses his Uair. This can KO, but its kind of situational, and it doesn’t do any damage at all.

Dair:
Vacuum Poke (6)= Blinx takes out his vacuum and thrusts it downwards three times: down and behind him, straight below him, then down and in front of him. Each hit does 8% and knocks the enemy above Blinx (these will not be consecutive hits, each hit does the knockback immediately) with relatively low knockback. This attack has some pretty bad lag if it has not been completed by the time Blinx lands.

Throws

Grab: His grab is basically Kirby’s neutral B move (with a range that is a middle ground between the two Links’ tether grabs), it can be held constantly, and the only lag it has is if you tae your finger of the grab button Blinx has to put his vacuum back on his back. Because of this great grab, Blinx cannot pummel, and his throws generally suck (get it) and all shoot at a fixed distance. However, if any opponent hits another opponent, they both take 8% (can be very useful in free for alls or team battles).

Front throw: Shoots the enemy spinning straight out of his vacuum the distance about as far as one of Olimar’s blue pikmin thrown using Side B. Does 3%

Back throw: Turns around and shoots the enemy behind him at about a 30 degree angle. If blinx was on one end of FD, they would land just short of the center with no DI. Does 3%

Up Throw: Shoots the enemy straight up, about as high as Falco/Fox’s Up throw. Does 3%.

Down Throw: Blinx jumps the height of his full first jump and shoots the enemy straight down. Does 5%

B Moves

Neutral B:
Record Charge: Blinx squats down and begins to glow green. This is a chargeable move that takes three times as long as Samus’ neutral B to charge up. It does not need to be all at once, and if interrupted, Blinx must start from scratch. Once fully charged, this move adds a special effect to the next move Blinx uses that utilizes the green Blinx. Here are the effects:
F-Tilt: Green Blinx does two cartwheels to do double damage.
F-Smash: Doubles the range green Blinx jumps on his attack.
Fair: Blinx throws green Blinx three body lengths in front of him. Green Blinx disappears after traveling this distance.
Side Special: If used on the ground, green Blinx will run until he runs off of the stage, and the TOTAL damage he deals upon hitting an enemy is increased by 25%. If used off the stage, green Blinx will float by Blinx’s feet momentarily and can be easily toadstooled off of.

Side B:
Recording Damage (9): Blinx sends out a green recording of himself to run in front of him to soak up and catch projectiles (can only catch on projectile, so only one of Link’s bombs, Diddys bananas, item, etc). The green Blinx almost runs as far as Falco’s Side B. If green Blinx comes into contact with an enemy after absorbing some projectiles, he will deal 110% of the total damage collected along the way. Knockback varies depending on projectiles absorbed/caught. Blinx can move immediately after using this move. If used in the air the green Blinx falls directly bellow Blix face first and will catch and absorb any projectiles on his way down (same damege dealing properties apply).

Down B (7):
Vacuum Shooter: Blinx whips out his vacuum and enters a stationary stance. In this stance, the player can adjust the angle Blinx shoots items from his vacuum (think stationary cracker launcher). The player must then hold down the B button to determine the power of the projectile (not damage wise, but the distance it will cover). The items shot are rusty gears that do 8%(travel a little slower than cracker launcher shots) and OK knockback with moderate priority. Items can be caught, and only one can be on a stage at a time. Press shield to leave the stance.

Up B

Balloon – Blinx points his vacuum straight up and a giant balloon emits from the end of his vacuum carrying him high up into the air (85% of Snake’s Up B’s height) and allows him to change his horizontal movement very easily (moves from side to side at a slightly faster pace than the average walk, and is very responsive to direction change). Heres the catch, the balloon can only take 35% PER STOCK. So if you pop the balloon, it’s safe to say Blinx won’t be coming back. If the balloon is popped and Blinx lands on the stage, the player can hold up and rapidly press B to fill up and store a new balloon.

Final Smash
Pause – Blinx snaps his fingers, a blue tint covers the scree, and everyone stops and cannot receive knockback for 10 seconds. This gives Blinx plenty of time to unleash some pain with his ferocious scratches and pimptasic kicks. I think you get the idea.

Other Things

Ledge attack under 100% = He does a kick to get back on stage, does 5%

Ledge attack over 100% = A slower kick… same amount of damage.

Up Taunt = Blinx holds his vacuum above his head and examines it

Side Taunts = He juggles three time crystals

Down Taunt = He stretches his arms above his head and yawns, then pauses, looks straight ahead and tilts his head to the side.

Awesome. as a Fan of FE (and playing the newest one right now) I gotta say, A LITTLE OP with ALL the Class specific special moves lol. I do though love how you twisted them to fit a Spear warrior.
I expected her UpB though to Be stun. Similar to meta knights, with less invincibility frames and a stunning effect. with low knock back. and while she is "gliding" on her Pegasus her A attack can be a spear thrust." then when she lands her Pegasus Warps away.
All in all, good job on it. Xane is Way OP also, It shouldn't be 1 minuet, but a lowely 30 seconds. or however long Invincibility from a star gets you.

EDIT: good point Lol. sorry.

The grab is pretty win.

So is the codec.

So is the moveset. Great job, Chris.

And lolololol i thaut marf waz a grl!!!!111

@Blinx: First of all, read the moveset above yours. See something different? That's called COLOR.

The moveset isn't bad, but it needs color, bolding, and size editing.

I have been thinking about making a Story Mode...
Same here. Since I'm going to have a bit more free time, I hopefully won't cancel this one halfway through :p

And Chris, thanks for posting that Sheeda moveset. She is definitely showing up in my SM if I make one. :)

haha of course i noticed that, its hard not to. but don't you need to know how to write code in order to do that? my knowledge of writing code is very limited, maybe ill edit and upgrade it in the future.

oh wait, i just discovered thego advanced button. ill edit the post later today.

Sheeda was brilliant. Gotta love that Codec.

Now that I'm back from break, I'm starting two new sets: another Disney character, and a Survivor one. Anyone who can guess who gets a cookie.

I LOVED THE GRAB!

THE CODEC WAS FUNNY THE CODEC IS WIN

By the Request of Mr. Chris Lionheart, and discontent with some comments of the set. I will use my typing powers to write you a small paragraph blurb on Shiida. For 1 POST COUNT! I ACTIVATE "I<3grabz// ZAMUSXSHIIDA, or SHIIDAxROB THE CODEC WAS FUNNY AS pickles.

Chris Lionheart; Shiida.

I am familiar with the FE series and I vaguely remember Shiida.

I skipped that stats, because if I were to comment on them on base myself as an example, I would be killing myself with hypocrytism.

I also would like to note the little skill images and skill implementations into all the moves.

Wrath.
This could easily hurt or help Shiida, mix this up with a bunch of other moves. And you got death. Just for you.

Impale
I asked you in the chat about this move, and the confusion was cleared up. I loved how many of the moves that Shiida possess has the ability to hurt foes over time. When I first looked at this I thought the foe would not move and was completely useless until Shiida pulled the spear out and Roll Spam. But going back to the first sentence, I cleared this up with you.

Tear
Enter the flying horse! Bwah! I like the terms of mathetical thinking, it turns my gears.
Quadratic = Parabola? Snap!

Disarm
Ah the sheer beauty of Marth and Ike without a sword. Mwaha. This was a very smart add, and was put in very nicely. Bearers of weapons beware! I loved this attackconcept very much.

Triple Combo
Automatic button. Heck yeah. Now I don't have to hit A three times. Take that! But I can't delay attacks now! DANG IT!

Canto
Reverse stab! Mindgames! Heck yeah.

Riposte
The Roll Attack concept was a very very nice touch. Beware DSMASHING charging people. She'll cut your face off.

Mercy
Huge range, In front and back. Add a spear and you got huge range.

Luna
A cresent of red light, that lingers to slay the enemy. Sounds good.

Shove
3 BS blocks?! HOLY FREAK. That's a long way. She's got the power to shove you away! Hay!

Rend
Another move I was talking to you about. This bloodshed with kill someone! 37% damage for death.

Maelstrom
Star KO anyone?

Spearstorm
This giant sweep of spear thrusts... Reminds me of Marth's Dancing Blade. In a way.

Eclipse
I liked the weird knockback of this attack. It's like omg whereth am I going?!

Sol
The way you aplpy all these skills into Smash is amazing. Sol = Healing + Attacking. Hahaha. I love this move.

Adept
Speedy arms for 2 slices in one go.

Colossus
If it wasn't for that lag this attack would represent Zamus' Down Speical.

Vantage
I loved this attack to. It's how you applied it into Smash. iStrikeb4U. HA!

Grab
ROBxShiida! <3

Astra
Who doesn't like a bunch of flashy attacks , killing a foe . COMBOZ EXIST!

Resolve
999% Shiida throws with Resolve > U.

Savior
NOOBS GO SUICIDE! BAM! I love when people will start playing and the you grab them and then send them to death. It's like strapping a rocket to a person. Bye bye!

Bane
Better know when you are going to kill someone , or you might've saved them.

Final Smash
WHOOP FLYING HORSE + Shiida = Death.

Super Armor and Wrath? Does this mean I'm going to die now?

Yes. Yes it does.

:bee:

CODEC WAZ WIN ....EPIXZOR WINS! LOLOLOLOLOLOL.

This was a rushed poorly made comment for your set Chris. I'm sorry.

+1 Post. <- RAGE!

Fine then, I'll say something more then "I loved the grab"! >:-( That was a really creative moveset. That was an interesting idea for the Neutral Special and Downwards Special. Shiida/Sheeda sounds like a really fun and interesting character, and I'd love to be able to play as her.

Blinx's moveset on the previous page (page 57) has been made more pleasing to the eye. Give it a look even though the moveset before it is a bit better...

That is epic. I don't know how you do it Agi... but Make Your Move wouldn't be quite the same without your efforts.

*Is glad to see one of my characters being selected. Also thinks you used an epic picture for Arthas.*

You were AFK at that time in the chat, but as one of the four Sandbags present your vote was cast for you... for Arthas. Glad you like the pic... it was a pain to find. XD

LOL @ 3 characters being selected in a coloumn but not Waluigi. =P
Odd how that worked out, isn't it?

Yeah, that kind of thing happens... don't worry. He'll be in on the larger rosters.

More lol @ the other character choice from that column being by the same MYMer as the odd set out.

(Although the location of Waluigi wasn't determined by Spade's 'set.)

Is it really necessary to spam further by pointing out what the person above you pointed out?

@Blinx: Looks like a decent first timer set, perhaps adding a picture would make it look less bland.

@Agi's Character Select Screen: Very win as always, shame I didn't post a set fast enough to get on there this time around...

Speaking of sets! I've gotten the basic attacks, stats, animations and grabs done for Hyatt, expect her sometime next week.

That roster contains epic amounts of win. . .Especially for all my movesets but Illidan being on it. Forget the full roster. This is my new desktop. *Saves as background*

But seriously, amazing job. I’m really glad that Waluigi ended up getting placed earlier on the list from the noob’s version so the three homunculi are back to back. Looks very epic.

Let’s see what gamefaqs thinks of it, shall we?

Please don't post unfinished sets. Save them to wordpad until you can finish them.

Hello, and welcome to Make Your Move. I hope you intend to stay and learn from the best. Look at other works to inspire yourself. Sets made by MasterWarlord, King K. Rool, Spadefox, SirKibble, or myself are prime examples, though almost everyone here is quite skilled.

Looks like a decent start, but be sure to read the rules before putting up a set. I'm afraid us Sins will have to take a vote off from it (if it ends up getting one); finish movesets before posting them; incomplete sets are subject to this penalty.

And welcome to Make Your Move.

I didn't even really choose Waluigi on myself, MW chose him for me. <_< And when Agi asked I was like "Uhm... okay, I guess?"

EPIC.

But why aren't any of my MYM5 movesets on it...

Oh yeah. <_<

And don't take a vote off from Zook, he might have skipped the OP and gone straight to the Abyss, and the Abyss does say this:

"Also please note that only movesets with all the basic moves for a character will be listed here. If you “reserve” a post, and build on it over time, you’ll have to post a comment here and notify us when it’s done if you want your work added to the list..."

That's basically saying that incomplete sets are allowed. :| Might wanna make it a bit more clear.

Good point. I guess one of us Sins should go and change the Abyss then...

I think we can let this slide this time, but don't go posting every time you make a small update to the set (e.g. I finished tilts for so-and-so). This generates unnecessary posts that spam the thread, and as you have taken down what you have started, reposting the set when it is finished is ok here, but never repost an unfinished set.

*echoing voice* Now you know.
