Just a moment ago I was gathering a tiny bit of frame data for Kirby for the mod I hopefully will make, and seeing how I'm probably going to have to gather some hitbox data in order to change a few of the moves, I figured I might start on Pika as well. It'll be my first time doing so, but it doesn't sound THAT complicated. Does anyone have the code so I can make another GCT?

BigSharkz already tried resizing Pikachu. He said that whenever Pichu landed on the ground or did a smash attack, Pichu would return to normal size. :/

I'm working on BigSharkZ's Pichu texture with him. I'm adding hearts as a female tertiary sexual characteristic.

I really hope it works. Resizing body parts seems like the easiest way to make Pichu, Baby Mario, Bowser Jr., etc. actually playable, and it made me sad to know the first attempt didn't quite work.

It's definitely possible to remake every clone exactly as they were in Melee, but I don't think that's what most of the hackers are going for. The one working on Doc is actually making him very different from his Melee incarnation, and Roy is still much more like Brawl Marth than Melee Roy.

See, the only problem with Melee Roy, was that he sucked.
I'd say he's inbetween Brawl Marth and Melee Roy, but this isn't the right thread to discuss that. But yeah, I don't think the hackers are aiming to keep bad characters bad.

of course theyre not gonna make them suck! there made for brawl+ where characters are toned out and balanced

Luckily for me I have Melee as well, so I can just pop it in when I want some good ol nostalgia. I remember spending so much time on that game. It probably is my most played game ever, possibly tied with Pokemon Red.

So...how long to the reverts last? Will there be more fixes in the future?

Frame data isn't the problem. That can be easily collected using codes.

It's the hitbox data which requires the use of a USB Gecko--which the WBR has only a few of and are busy or out of commission right now--that is the problem.

Its all good.
Anyways, the first things I can do are messing with the SH height/fall speed to make Pichu a more SHFFL-based character like he was in Melee, and then look into some frame speed mods.
What are some moves we would want sped up/changed?

So wait...does this revised Pichu ever actually turn back into normal sized Pika during battle, or is that totally cleared up? I don't quite get the changelist.

I like your ideas, I'm definitely going to be using them as a basis for when I can edit the hitboxes and such, as the majority were in the same area as my own thoughts.

Do you have AIM? Much easier to correspond that way.

Do not edit the legs, otherwise that will be the result. You have to edit the upper/lower legs and feet.

It always works for me. I don't edit the legs but I edit the lower legs, like for Baby Mario.

You people are doing Pichu, Doc Mario, and Roy why not do Mewtwo two that way the Fallen Four would be in brawl so they wouldn't really be fallen.

Mewtwo? That would be impossible. We have already model haacked Mewtwo in the game (thanks BigSharkZ, i think) and used textures for him. However, Mewtwo is incredibly different from Lucario. The best that can be done is to make Lucario look very similar to Mewtwo. Not much else.
