That skirt was so hard to get right. But I like what I did to it. She'll still in the prototype stage. So I need to finish her leggings,parasol,and her weapons

Not to be an ***, but is there anyway to bump up the quality for textures? Maybe it's just that Marc's Chun-Li has spoiled me, but some of these look really GIF-like in comparison.

lol thanks meno *puts meno back on my good list* I guess I set the bar too high lol i think mine is the only texture that has this effect that and my booty shot screenies are my trademarks i suppose i really should finish it :S

Cassandra Alexandra is my next texture too after i HD all my old ones it should look epic :O

As for effecting the eyelids it all depends on how well you can draw emotions to change the eyes' you'll have to first determine what you want the neutral eye too look like and then proceed to make the blinking animations and when she gets hit you need to be extremely careful here and make sure you have everything perfectly aligned otherwise you'll really screw up her face also changing Peach's Eyebrows will drastically effect her facial features
having a good Tablet really helps i don't know what tablet Peachkid uses but I'm currently using a Wacom Intuos 4 they're fairly pricey mine was 635 but i think you can get then for as cheap as something like 80-150 bucks if you're serious about texture editing otherwise using a mouse you'll have to have good CG skills (not Chain grab =_=) to do the eyes unless you know how to improvise i don't even want to deal with eyes yet maybe later i'll go back and change all the eyes to match the characters they're representing if i feel they don't look right I'm just not gonna touch Peachs eyes

The key is to use real life textures and not solid colors. They really make a difference.

my first Chun-li in the HD remix preview is an example of solid color you also need to know how to Shade and know where the direction of light is coming from

a while ago i edited another snow white texture to make it so she has the long dress and doesnt look retardedly slutty

thats pretty **** good for a recolor man now i gotta do my own snow white :O

i liked the slutty snow white though, lol

You mean like a see-thru? I don't think that's possible. You'll have to make lots and lots of little black dots to simulate that effect.

You could use a pattern, not that hard. I've always contemplated getting into texture hacks, but that post makes it look SO hard...

Meno, you know how to use Photoshop decently, with testing and playing around you'll realise it's really easy. Especially Peach's texture that's just "edit n' play".

Strange. I was once able to make certain parts of Zelda completely transparent, but I have no idea how it happened lol. I figured I just put some grayscale information in the wrong place, but then I remade it in exactly the same way (I think) and it turned out fine.





I know it's Zelda and not Peach, so I put in random Peach pictures so I could barely stay on topic with this thread. LOL

Guys, I'm quite a big fan of the Final Fantasy series and whilst I've only played 3, 4, 4: After Years and 6, I still love them

I was wondering if anyone would make a texture hack of Peach to show a FF character...she doesn't really look like any I know but...could anyone at least try? Shes got a bit of a problem in that she's got a crown on and a...well, not a very Final Fantasy-ish face. Most female FF characters also have capes which Peach certainly doesn't...although imagine if she did

If anyone could somehow make a Terra Branford texture hack especially on Peach (or someone else I guess) I...well I might name you a godparent, I'm not giving anyone my babies thats for sure

i think its Peachs pompoms that hurt FF character outfits the most, but isn't Princess Garnet from FF something?

maybe someone could make Aeris Peach, probably not Marc though he hates her.

Aerith, Tifa, and Terra would all make better Zelda textures.

A more grown-up version of Relm, though? I'd love to see that as a Peach texture. ^_^
