Both for Low Tier and Normal Singles

Normal Doubles??

If we start Low tier during doubles and run low tier and normal singles concurrently I don't see why we wouldnt be able to get it done...

I need a teams partner

Yeah low tier is D and below.
If we start **** on time and do multiple events at the same time like Ben said i think we could fit 3 events in. Norm n low tier singles and epic doubles of any sort.
Ill team with you Ben or someone since Kaion is being silly

In America low tier is Lucas and down (and I can see the logic) but that's America and their ridiculously skilled players.

On the other hand, I'm more inclined to go with Bowser and down for us.

@Arrow: What alternative do we have to the entry fee barring scrapping a pot for singles?

Sounds good.. the other Chris is away as well, I might have to actually contribute this tourney

So how are we for setups?
I feel we are gonna be running pretty short since the Chris' wont be coming.
I can probably bring my Wii (runs pretty dodgy) and possibly a TV if i get a lift.

I reckon doubles is fine as winner takes all... I mean there are only about 8-9 teams anyway so going down to 3rd with prize money seems like charity... If we get 15-20 teams we should do it.

Well, I sort of care, because I don't want any Jews running around crying about how I'm using a character that isn't low-tier.
I want to pick up a high-tier character, but I don't know who.
Maybe Marth, just so I can play against Shaya and beat him and then laugh at him.
Who else is high?

So we do Normal Doubles and Low tier singles at the same time, then we do normal singles?

Yeah sneak in low tier singles whilst we are doing normal doubles and i think it will fit through.
Pot for doubles sounds awesome, doubles is getting noticed sort of like <3.

I agree with this.

Ike, Pokemon Trainer, Bowser and Zelda shouldn't be low tier, but that would leave us with just 9 characters.

BUUUT, I don't think it matters too much since we're all n00b anyway.

I think it does matter because I would totally win with Ike.
Or Nick.
Bowser's pretty good as well, but probably not good so much in low-tier.
ZELDA is gay.
ZELDA for low-tier? I think not.
Zelda and Ike should be out, I think.
In low-tier-only-tournaments.

But that would only leave me with Jiggly and Lucas...

Nothing on their website coincides with the times we're there.
The times we have up on the first post are correct (give or take).

Small turn-out but either way good, apparenly Matt has been running tournies at his place for a long time, so he said he can bring around 12ish people to the next Smash tourney. Add that up with our average of 20ish and we got over 30 peeps =)

Should be sweet if we can get those other people coming that Matt was talking about.

Also might be an idea to just post the Normal Singles brackets since the results were inconclusive.

We should adopt America Low-tier.
Zelda and Ike are far too gay for low-tier.
I'd have to play Lucas or something, since he's the only other character I 'sort of' play.
Mmmeh.

Low attendance, but everyone who was there enjoyed it. Besides if we just keep having them regularly, then people will turn up, numbers will grow and it'll be all good. It will pay off. :)

Ok since the Queensland thread is closed for now.

Smash meet at mine tonight around 6 - 6:30pm kgo, bring wii's as I have 5 tv's to fill (3 of them being bobs looooool)
