Welcome Mondo...were you at GenCon last year by any chance?


Anyone wanna meet up for breakfast at say...9am or so?
Then we can mosy on over to old mate at around 9:30 n start setting up :)

Off-Topic: Out of curiosity, I have Batman: AA and can't install due to not being a valid win32 application. Anyone have ideas? (my pc's stats are beastly and I have win7 Ultimate 64bit)

didnt do doubles cause brawl is gay and slowed down melee till like 3pm...

Dont think we'll have melee at lansmash next week. Im going to an ITG meet, kas is going to a friends for the weekend, ben and josh have uni, bryce is working/uni, and everyone else is too broke ololol.

Highlight of the day.. 4 stocking arrow in 46 seconds XD

I think Ryan was the only one playing good that day out of the first 5-6 placers.
Zac got unlucky, but was still doing lots of ******** stuff. I only beat him out of sheer luck.
Rob, you don't tech, at all. Also you don't shield enough, I think, and you camp too much with Falcon.
I wasn't playing so bad, but my Marth was pretty out of it, and my (lol) Falco, and I was doing lots of predictable things I'm surprised I got away with a lot of it.
And Josh, haha, you were the only one I was genuinely afraid of losing to. Haha.
Was sorta scary with the last match of the first set with Ryan, but I was playing Peach so I didn't mind if I lost.

And sigh, Antho...
Not going to lose to you ever again in Brawl.
Too many gimps, bah.

Haha, It would have been amazing if J-Birds strapped the Yoshi onto himself as he motorbiked home.
Otherwise free prizes AND TVs are a good thing!

It was a pretty good day, we COULD have got things done a bit better, but still, both games ran pretty well beside each other like that, the way it should be!

Lol Kas I do tech, almost everything, and I shield too much. I just suck against you and don't know what to do, so I camp and play bad. Unfortunately the only thing falcon can do against fox is play like a ***** and wait for an opening. I just can't do anything about it when i play you, I don't know why.

There's a tournament this weekend at QSAC. We'll be there Friday and Saturday, but Sat's when the actual tournament will be on.

And Rob, I watched a game with you and Ryan, and you didn't tech 6 or so hits IN A ROW, that's not teching if I ever saw it.

If Melee's going to happen, it'll be Friday. But honestly, I'd recommend coming Saturday if you can only come to one day since that's the day most smasher's will be there, meaning more Melee players to play against.

Just wanted to say that the tournament on Sunday was good fun. Scott! Your Kirby was amazing. It took me too long to catch onto how you were beating my bananas with those aerials. And when I did get smart, you got smarter with grabs and such. Really impressive.

And Orpheon! I'll be sure to ban it against you next time. Norfair isn't too bad of a stage for me.
