The actual MM was $300, but all of the side bets on the match added up to over $3000. DP got *****, lol.

That's all

That's not how money matches/bets work. When he said he won $120, he means that was his net profit. You don't count your own money you put on the line, that's a given. He didn't win $220, because he only made $120.

Apparently it was $140 though. Not gonna lie, I probably would have bet on Eric if I was there too, lol.

Great matches. I'd be pissed if I lost $120. I don't think this would have been any better with any other characters. Falco dittos can always have twist at any part of the match. Made it more exciting to watch.
