Well SA's tourneys Brawlwise are odd anyway.
Apollo is our best player and he uses ZSS against me (in at least 3 finals) and does well enough (and I use Snake/Sheik).
Plus he used solo ZSS and managed to rank very well interstate.

Wobbling and Blizzobbling are Ice Climber's two infinites in Melee.

I'll arrive at 12-12:30 as well and leave around 7-8:30 (earlier if my brother can pick me up).

Your Jigs is pretty good.
...When it's not randomly sinking off the side of the stage because you forget you're not MK.

You should learn Icies on brawl imo. <3

My John: The sinking was cause I had tap jump off.

Wow, Top 5? *Is proud*.

Haha, Ice Climbers in Brawl feel so different to Melee though and I think having to transition between them will screw me up. Atleast Jiggly has the same playstyle between games.

So true, most similair char between the two games imo...

Only problem is if you played the puff in Melee originally and go on to play the puff in Brawl, you lose your high tier hacks :/

Eh, the only playstyle changes I make are:
• More defensive
• Less rest
• Less Bair
• More pound
• More rollout.

Yeah that's about right.

Rollouts still pretty bad anyway though, if you're playing a smart player with a capable character, lol.

Yah, but it's much better than it is in Melee. And it is good against some characters with no reliable options against it, and can surprise a lot of people (and it can piss Jamage off :D)

Thanks heaps for hosting the meet today Jamage, I had heaps of fun and I would've liked to have stayed longer.

Practice those Jiggle locks for Valhalla Grim! Until those nubs learn to tech. And I agree with Nova that you should pick up IC for brawl, they are much easier to learn. You then have the luxury of CGs and the such.

Just a question, were you the zero suit who was partnered with the peach in the 2v2 at Reloaded? I was the fail MK and was partnered with the Wolf. You dominated us pretty easily, hope it won't be a repeat ;D

Based on some increased interest in SA's scene lately I'll be thinking about putting a PR list together (probs top 5), I'll also tell a few people about it this SG or at the lan the week after it.
If need be I'll use a system similar to the one Victoria uses because I suck with names (point system, which I liked).

Atm, Apollo would be 1 (ZSS), I'd be 2nd (Snake), Jamage would be 3rd (ROB), the rest I'd have to look at results but I think Blue Bomber (Ness) and Asiuka sp? (Zelda?) would be there somewhere.
Plus Grim if he sticks around. :E
And Aces, hopefully.
Hopefully I can get some more people interested.

Jamage and I have discussed the possibility of a PR, and although your predictions may be right Nova we should be fair and judge the list by past tournament performances and not preferences. We'd need to come to an arrangement for which specific tournaments to include, or decide whether we start from scratch. You should sort it out with Jamage this weekend Nova, the sooner the better! A melee PR should get some older players interested again.

Either way DJB is not on the list as far as I'm concerned.
