I must say this tourney was definitely fun as hell. Despite having 20+ ppl come thru and enter singles and/or teams we still had a good time and hella hype matches to go crazy over.

We even had a Brawl pro by the name of ANTi come through and enter to see how he'll place!

We had Strawhats come through all the way from CT using public transportation to come here...all by himself! What a trooper!

Thanks to Prog for allowing me to do recording and bracket shiz on TIO. Commentary was mad fun as well w/ everyone who participated. For all those who didn't get to see some of the sexy hype matches that we went gaga over, you'll see 'em on Prog's youtube channel.

Omega shoutout to Eggm for all those **** TVs...as long as you supply those TVs brah you get infinite free venue for LIFE! Same to ya StricNyn3 and doing an amazing job in teams and singles.

Shoutouts to everyone else who came and made history again at the 2nd installation of "DIP!"

I have the 10 now and while I don't care that it's fake, I think TO's should start checking to make sure all monies received is legit. (Not blamin D1 at all, no way he could have known since this was never a problem in the past.)

there was alot of people there who were newcomers to the scene so its cool to see its still expanding. also this got me back into melee maybe ill become more active now lol

Like I said before I ain't gettin at ya.

I was talking about how players that ppl didn't expect to get far or beat already known local players. Like for example Zec and StriCNYN3 gettin mad far in bracket. Even Anti was puttin in work he just got bracket ***** in winners since he had to face Eggm.

I dunno when I can host the next event cuz I'm not really down for hosting anything on October 30th its like Halloween weekend : /.

We probably might not have DIP at all next October unless you guys can choose a date that you all are gonna attend.

Oct 2nd is Saffron and 16th is No Johns. So I can't compete w/ those.

The 23rd I'm completely booked and the 30th once again is Halloween weekend BS.

Thanks for showing support again pplz, even w/ the no shows it was fun! Get at the random newcomers showin up for Melee!

I thought this game was dead.

Thanks homies, if you want a next tourney tell me a date that works for ya'll. I'm here to help you the Melee community, if you guys need something in October tell me a date be it a Friday/Sunday or a Oct 9th?

I dunno talk to the kid.

The venue owner loves you guys and said you guys are really respectful and nothing ever gets stolen even if we have systems lying around and whatnot.

Shoutout to that lil kid named Cody who didn't know how to play the game. Good kid and I hope I see him again so I can keep teaching him. The next Jman right there lol.

Shoutout to Kubuu for coming through and playing with the kids. We were beasting in teams with Samus/Link and Bowser/Link lol.

I kinda need that date if possible though. Week after is Season's Beatings...

This was my first tournament, and I have nothing but positive comments.
D1 ran this **** wonderfully, the place is at a convenient location - food and bank is right on the block, and the melee community is very friendly and much more social than the brawl community =p
Also, thank you very much to everyone who gave me advice on this game. I'm a sorry noob that just started playing a few months ago. I used to play bralw, but I play melee now because I find it much more enjoyable. I definitely need training though, and the only people I really play melee with are my stoner friends who don't have enough brain cells left to be competitive, so I would appreciate it if anyone would want to melee it up one day with me to help me get better for the next DIP tournament =p

otg wouldn't my post suggest the exact opposite? I went dk in tournament, I obviously didn't care about the money. The spacies, jiggs and sheik players are the ones playing for the money dumb*ss
