(South Florida)In honor of the "The Flying Spagetti Monster" Tournament.

I've decided to let the tournament still continue, since I honestly don't know how to take everyone's "lack of interest" and then suddenly everyone wanting to play randomly. Anyways! This tournament will still go down. I'll do my best to run it (with the assistance of Linguini who's taking my place as far as host is concerned) So yeah...HYPE!!! I expect at least 20+ entrants or I'm punching 1st place winner in the face and kick 2nd place winner in the nuts.

If I were you, I'd follow my directions and use mapquest ONLY as a reference, as they tend to give screwy directions to this place for some odd reason.

So basically this place is found on 441, between the main streets of Stirling Road, and Griffin... Those are two exits off of I95, i'll have the exit numbers later. So, easiest thing I can tell you to help you not get lost, though I'm not sure if it's the fastest depending on where your coming from, Go to I95 (south or north respectively) Exit off of Stirling Road and head WEST from 95. When you hit 441 (or state road 7, same street) Make a right. You should now be heading NORTH. The next light you'll see is a street called Seminole Way. The second Street is called Lucky Street. The plaza is on the right in between these two streets.

But to not get lost ever, or miss it, just make a Right onto LUCKY STREET, and there's an entrance to the plaza on the right as soon as you turn, where u will see the infamous "Only hill"

- Double Elimination
- All matches are 2/3, Winners/Losers Finals are 3/5, Grand Finals also.
- Separate seeding can be requested if it is so desired.
- All matches are four stock with an eight minute time limit.
- Sudden Death will not be played. Ties are broken by stock and percentage.
- Items will, of course, be OFF.

I know you're not doing it on the 11th because of HungryBox's WATO. One thing though is if you did move it to the 18th ESAM is going to be using the Zero Ping venue for his Brawl monthly. The place is kinda small for a fusion event too >.>

something I did that will help with choosing dates is if you look in the link above if you go to the bottom of the post there's a collapse box with a large set of future dates people have yet to take. You can try choosing from one of those to host your event with guaranteed no conflicts(at least as of now lol).

It's kinda funny how we're starting to have too many events going on now rather than too little.

I'll bring my non-texture hacked melee for the tournament and then we can swap it out for my texture hacked one for friendlies after the tournament.

As far as I know it's Dec 18th at 11 a.m. He needs to fix the dates on the threads. I pmed him about it. I am interested and might be able to attend if my RPG group is not gonna be going on this Saturday. I might be able to bring 1 or 2 friends.

Thnx for the info. I'll probably go since I got loads of knowledge from Spider last Saturday, so hopefully I'll be able to atleast kill this guy once :D

Spider pmed me that he was thinking about postponing due to lack of interest. I told him that he could just host a friendly meetup to play smash not a tourney. Let's see what he does.

@ Unstop - Don't worry. As of right now this tournament is canceled until further notice. Sorry I couldn't get the update out sooner, I'm just going to have to plan a date that's further ahead and is easier on everyone's schedules.

Thought everyone was too busy or didn't have to "prove" anything to the community. Anyways, go for it Emilio. The date will be the same; I'll remind Phil that there's a tournament happening for melee. Hopefully the brawlers didn't take the date but I doubt it. Drop the fee from 10 to 5 since this is a tournament with just the locals.

Spider sense there was a conflict I posted here about a long time ago lol. ESAM ended up moving his date to Jan since there's a huge brawl tourney going on in CFL this weekend. You will have the ZP venue to yourselves this weekend.

If I wasn't already going to something big this weekend I would've came to this. I haven't gone to a melee tourney before and I wanna start lol.

Edit - Major apologies to every one with the confusion I wanted to find a more grounded date but since things turned out for the best I'll leave this tournament up and running. Again, I'm very sorry with me keeping up with the threads, I'll stay on tournaments I make from now on. Pinky promise.
