These numbers are not official for Genesis II, I would anticipate a few players receiving free entry for helping with the event and the TO's may or may not reimburse that lost income to the pot with the venue fee. However, comparing to most 'nationals' Genesis is a very good bargain and a steal with that $20 venue fee. The prize pool is also the largest ever seen in Smash for an underground event (MLG Dallas being hard to ever top with $35,000), only rivaled by the first Genesis that had $17,800 in prizes. The guys at DBR certainly know how to put on a great event, and how to get you the best deal in the entire Smash community (not charging huge venue fees), so if they do happen to open registration back up again or even allow door entry, you most certainly should attempt to attend.
