Imperial II - Enjoy your balls!

Welcome the Imperial II, a Generation V OU tournament! Think you have what it takes to best other trainers? Wanna prove that you're the best? Sign up for Imperial II today! Because we all know that lengthy introductions are boring, let's get down to business.

First off let's introduce our fabulous awards! (Be sure to thank F8AL!)

In short, no matter if you win or lose you'll be earning a postbit! However, you are in danger of being disqualified if you do not take an active role in completing your matches. Speaking of which, let's go over some guidelines.

Guidelines / Rules
- Registration closes 9/28/11 or when the bracket contains 16 participants.
- Brackets are setup via random assignment. Seeding will not be used.
- Each round is to last five days or 120 hours. If all the scheduled matches are completed before the deadline the next round will start ASAP.
- The overall tournament is single elimination. You lose, you're out.
- If you do not show up or give a reasonable excuse as to why you cannot partake in your match, you're disqualified. No questions asked. Disqualified members will not receive a postbit icon.
- Announce scores as soon as your matches are complete. "I defeated Player A 2-0." or "Player B won 2-0." etc.
- Save battle logs. This is simple and takes no time at all. This helps in the event of argument.
- Refer to Smogon's thread regarding clauses and the like. Wifi clause is also included.
- Timed matches are optional.
- Each match is played best two out of three. Semifinals and finals are played best three out of five. This also applies during the set to determine third place.
- Any and all rules may be edited / added / removed. If this occurs I will notify by posting in this thread.
(I feel like I'm forgetting something, so.)

Sign up to play in Imperial II in the following format. Please give your Pokemon Online username along with your timezone. This allows the scheduling of matches to be more convenient. I may also group people of similar timezones together in the effort to get as many people being active in this tournament as possible.

I'd say it'll be alive.

I can't really participate beyond hosting Machamp's Pants to help out, though.

You can host and participate, just as I will be doing. The matches for this tournament do not necessarily have to be conducted on Machamp's Pants.
