Venu: $10. All proceeds go to "Habitat for Humanity"
singles: $5
Doubles: $10; $5 per person

Payout:
Singles/Doubles:
~1st: 60%
~2nd: 30%
~3rd: 10%

Venue:
All "profit" from venue will go directly to charity.
~Extra donations are GREATLY appreciated.


Schedule:

9:00am doors open
~check in/registration.
~ KittyMW hopes to attend; he and Getlow will be seeding the bracket.

11:00am doubles begins

2pm - 3pm O'clock lunch/dinner/food tables will be set up to eat at :) and there is a burger king and Giant eagle less than 30 seconds away, walking distance!!!

4:00pm singles

9:00 venue closes



Ruleset:

~ 4 stock, 8:00 minutes
~ Items OFF
~ Sets are best-of-3 except Winners Finals, Losers Finals, and Grand Finals, which are best-of-5.
~ Ties after the time limit are determined by stocks, then by percentage.
~ Wobbling is banned.
~ Glitches such as IC's Freeze Glitch and Mewtwo's Soul Stunner are banned.
~ Stalling with Jigglypuff's Rising Pound or Peach's Wall Bomber is banned.
~ You cannot counterpick the stage you last won on in a set unless agreed upon by the opponent.

Stage Strike for the first match of the set in "1221" fashion:
1. First person strikes one stage.
2. Second person strikes the next two stages.
3. First person strikes one stage.

After each match:
1. Winner announces stage ban
2. Loser chooses counterpick stage
3. Winner chooses their character
4. Loser chooses their character

Doubles-Specific Rules:
~Life stealing is allowed
~ Friendly Fire is turned ON
~ Pause is turned OFF

Don't worry I'll look into all the tournaments in the midwest area... The date, as stated above, is subject to change. I have to discuss few things with the venu owner still ( my pastor <--- lol. )

Whoa, whoa, whoa. HOWLAND? Awesome. Why can't we get Brawl tournaments this close? ...Actually, scratch that. I'm starting my own... But, it's gonna take some time. orz

So, put Hari and Mint as unconfirmed. A Smash tournament less than 30 minutes away? Yes. Very yes.

24th is a little worse of a date cause that's the start of my spring break, so getting a ride there/back gets a bit more complicated. Oh well, I'll still look into it and we'll see what we can do =D

Sorry, like I said the date isn't confirmed yet. :] don't worry
However, I can't please everyone Once I solidify a few things then I will set a concrete date. And it won't change. But until then I'm hoping for sometime in march preferably march 10+

The reason why there aren't any Brawl tournaments around here is because no one around here plays Brawl, lol. You can try to host some Brawl tourneys, but I doubt if very many people will show up.

people would show up to a brawl tourney maybe... they'd just all be scrubs.
NEOH is a melee community, in terms of competitive smash.

also, my tourney is definitely happening, silly man, everything is worked out and such :)

March 10th would be a pretty excellent date. 17th i guess isn't so good cause of the MI tournament, and 24th cause of spring break :(

But like I said, we could probably bring 3-4 up.

It's official guys, However I had to raise the venue fee because the venue owner wants us to donate some money to charity. With the Venue being $95 dollars in order to actually make a notable donation I had to raise the fee for the venue. The venue is open until 9pm, So we HAVE to be out by 9. Hope you're looking forward to waking up early.

LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING ALL OF YOU THERE. :)

Don't worry, the singles and doubles entrance fee money stays untouched. ONLY THE VENUE FEE GO TOWARDS CHARITY! Hope this is clear for everyone. sorry for the inconvenience.

NO! I'm guessing around 11ish is when it will start. I have some paper work to fill out which has the details behind when I can let people in. I think it's around 9ish but I don't want to start that early. so I presume around 11.

I'm not sure if I can make it yet, but I'll try to be there.
