Weird bug with strange sound

Alright, I've asked some people and none have ever seen this.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? What is it? What is it caused by? What is this sound effect?

I suspect something crashed the Gamecube for a few frames. Note that there is NO standing pivot frame. It goes from dash left to dash right directly.

Oh, you must have pressed one of the button combos that makes you smaller. I heard the mushroom sound when you tried to JC grab. It's not a glitch.

Haha, you're right. It's Y+D-pad right. I would have never figured that out on my own!

Y+-> resets the character size, so it seems like nothing happens at all.
