Shoutouts to
www.twitch.tv/fishflopstreams
for the stream team!

T.O. Shoutouts:
Juu, SP, Beegs: Thanks being assists in a very ****ty situation. I don't think a different team could have done better.

Lou: Thanks for stepping in when you saw **** hit the fan.

Clowsui: Thanks for seeding help and Bracket help. I think what we can do to improve that pools to bracket transition is when we rename a player from "POOL8A" to say "Zinoto", we keep the 8A part: "Zinoto (8A)". Then we can very easily see the pool number and seeds after we know who has qualified to bracket.

Eddie G and Mister Eric: Thanks for being consultants.

ORI and WTP: Thanks for MI player info, I finally got a grasp on you guys.

Fish Flop: I really liked the stream layout: both on the digital end and physical end. BUT I always want to aim for better better better! Hope to have you guys again!

Overswarm: Thank you for being a great sport and I really hate DQing people who didn't do anything wrong, especially my friends. You will get free entry (or $10 off your total entry) at my next event if you are able to come up again.

All Brawl Players:
Apologies for disregarding the LGL. I honestly forgot about adding my variation to the LGL rule until the Thursday night before (my personal cut-off date for rulesets). My variation will be at Rain 3. Rain 2 and Rain 4 are APEX rulesets. Why I have different rulesets is because I want to try to put excitement back into brawl whil keeping what the developers originally wanted. Many think this is impossible, but I want to prove it is impossible by trying everything (Plus part of me thinks it is possible). Feel free to not go to these "Odd RAINs", I will still have the Apex ruleset Rains. For those who have been to my past tournaments know that the rule sets usually don't ruin the day (This case is different as I'll explain below).

Also apologies for my seeding by locations for Singles Bracket. If we had finished pools at 9:30 instead of 9, I would have been forced to do single elimination bracket instead of double (with the 24 people getting there 5 bucks back... and the pot stays the same.... which the 5 dollar thingy I'm kinda considering for future events anyway.)

TIOPRO: You are the worst bracket program ever. I want the old TIO back, I will be using this because it actually works correctly:
http://download.cnet.com/ALJ-Tournament-Maker/3000-2121_4-10620463.html
(Even though it can't do pools... and it was last updated in 2006.)
Fix your bugs.

All N64 Players: Apologies for the massive delay. I am very glad I got the tournament in finally and will schedule this much more properly next time. I hope this bad experience doesn't keep you from coming back. It will be better next time.

All Players/Spectators:
This was by far, my worst tournament. The beginning had an extremely rough start. I was called into my work place to turn a program back on after it was down for patching. This is a process that should have taken 5 minutes. Sadly, the program would not start properly so I spent a good 40 minutes figuring out why and waiting on the phone. Turns out, it wasn't ready to turned back on even though many thought it was. Then I spent another 30 minutes talking with the Customer Support that actually needed the application to see if it worked correctly after so many start up failures. Turns out, their system was down for the weekend anyway for the same patching. THUS I HAD NO REASON TO GO IN AT ALL.

When I returned, I came back to see that registration was not done properly and had to fix it so we could make sure everyone paid for the correct events. This process ended at 2:30.

Because of this, I was not able to run the tournament the way I wanted it to be. This was not a "Keist" event that I am known for running.

PLEASE leave any feedback/suggestions. Please be specific in these so... not things like this:
I was not very happy with this event.
But more like this:
I was not happy with this event because things started too late.
Dispite this, my staff and I are angry enough to channel that anger into making this Rain series be the best. Stay tuned through the Storm.

NEXT RAIN IS.....

Had a great time, did a lot better than I'd anticipated. Shoutouts to my pool and friendlies, more specific shoutouts when I'm not sleeptyping.

This was a lot of fun, Project M was a blast. Can't wait to play at events in the future after having some practice with it. :D

Also, Gunpunch needs to change his name now that GUNPUNCH! outplaced gunpunch in doubles. >:[

Congratulations to Axis for winning PM with Ike, it's good to see someone still repping him. Were any PM videos recorded?

Good **** MX and Wuvs <3 This was a good day for Yoshi lol.

These are very interesting results. First of all, who is Axis? @____@ Good **** to him.
Good **** to Soul Pech for beating Roller with what I assume was probably Puff. My puff still better tho ;)
Good **** to Player-1 out placing Zinoto.

Ty p-1 for teaming. Tight about singles but I wasn't in the right mindset.

More later. Extremely unhappy w the way this was/had been and a few other things but I know better than anyone that it's very difficult to run a tournament well especially with more than one event/format.

I thought people already realized no LGL is the stupidest thing ever.

:phone:
No, it took about 2 games to realize that other than Meta Knight no one else can effectively plank and win a tournament. Even Meta Knight couldn't do it, although we think theoretically he could.

I'll post shoutouts later.

Maybe we should label everyone's names with character icons. For example, I was was :fox:, :kirby2:, & :sonic: in Brawl Singles, and :warioc: & :sonic: in Project M.

Definitely a fun tourney. Although there were not as many Melee entrants as I hoped there would be, the staff did an awesome job making it a very playable experience. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing familiar and new faces alike, hopefully I'll make it out to the next one (and there will be more Melee players too).

One thing I did notice, though. Where you have the Melee Doubles bracket posted in the OP, you actually have a link that displays the Singles bracket, which is posted in its respective place. May we have the bracket for Doubles displayed there? Or was it lost? :c

Just reviewed the stream with P-1, lol.

93 ledgegrabs at Game Three.

In normal gameplay (before he stayed on the ledge), he hit 43.

Brawl Singles Bracket image has been updated. Will do the same to the others shortly.
Some one screwed up my pools on TIO, so I will not be posting those.
Melee Doubles "Bracket" has been uploaded (Since there were only 6 teams, we did pools to the top 3 for single elim.)

Character Images I will not have time for, nor really care for. Mod may feel free.
