I think Max wants to stay neutral. He would have made it abundantly clear in the Week Of for Melee if he supported it for the contest or w.e. He's a figurehead and has a huge following, I don't think he wants that to suddenly backfire on him because 90% of his fanbase could care less about competitive Smash.

I disagree with this. One pointed message is what matters, not 600 retweets. We've asked a few people before, no need to hound them.

I feel like if you do it M2K, since you're so well known, they'll be more likely to do something if you specifically say for them to do a video about it or tweet about it in general.
