Yes. It's so common in fact that I have made a drinking game out of it.

Whenever someone says MK should be banned, drink beer.
Whenever someone says MK shouldn't be banned, drink beer.
Whenever someone suggests a soft ban, drink light beer.
Whenever someone talks about how easy it is to win with him, drink whiskey.
Whenever someone mentions a foreign country that has banned him, drink vodka.
Whenever someone brings up statistics, pull out your math textbook and do a random problem from it. If you can't solve it, drink beer.
Whenever someone mentions any of the following people, drink the corresponding beverage:
  • M2K - Jagerbomb
  • Azen - Anything
  • Lee - Vodka
  • Dojo - Whiskey
  • Plank - Fruit flavored drink
  • Affinity - Beer
  • Infinity - Light beer
  • Hylian - Dr Pepper
Whenever someone says that MK isn't that hard to beat, drink beer once you stop laughing.
Whenever someone makes a comparison to Melee, drink wine.
Whenever someone makes a sarcastic post, drink pop of your choice.
Whenever the thread gets hijacked, go do something else.
When the mods intervene, take a shot of everything and pour your booze out down the sink.
