"Marcan from Team Twiizers has posted a lengthy article on his website regarding the latest System Menu update issued by Nintendo for the Nintendo Wii. This System Menu update blocks the use of the Twilight Hack which is used to enable the use of homebrew on Nintendo Wii consoles.

Marcan posts that Twiizer's is working on a new solution for getting homebrew up and running on the Wii. He says there are other games that can be exploited and that the old ways will be gone - including DVDx and other applications. You can read his post below."

a new version of the twilight hack is out, to help those get back on the homebrew scene who've lost their wii to nintendo's updates. it's still very recommended to not update if you haven't done so, and you should probably downgrade if you updated, in order to not get auto-updates by nintendo.

For the most part you won't need to touch this. There are only 2 reason you would want to. To change what stages are in rotation for random, the first 28 (40 decimal) slots. And to change the icon a stage uses. Each slot is 2 bytes (1 byte = 2 hex digits), the first byte is what level is loaded when selected, the second is what icon is displayed. Slot 29 (41 decimal) must be the Menu (used for my music).
YY is the number of byte in ZZZZZZZZ (slots*2)

I'm sorry, could you explain how to apply that code more in-detail? I'm not quite sure how to use it, and it looks pretty awesome.

EDIT: Ah, should've read first post first, my mistake, skimmed through the previous couple of pages and other people had asked stuff so I thought it was okay to as well. Sorry!

EDIT2: I can't get the Custom SSS code working even with the recommended values, though. Which Brawl version is it for?

Hey, I'm sure this must have been done before... is there a code that makes the game start with a 3-Man Stock match rather than a 2-Minute Time match? It'd be great to not have to change that each time I boot up the game.

When I first saw these I though they were fake, but now I can conform that they are real (or rather the the value for master hand is, Petey crash when I try him). They how ever are only use for the pic next to the damage meter.

KK this is my first code so go easy on me. No i didnt make any of these codes myself, i simply have the credit of this specific arrangement. However i may tweak with the codes to fix a few of the bugs. I call it corruption mode because all characters under control of PLayer 1 are phazon colored and do massive damage, take barely any damage. But the real reason its called corruption is because of a neat effect i noticed. You can corrupt. Throw a pokeball and the pokemon that comes out is as powerful as you. Anything you touch and use in some way will gain your stats. Enjoy.

It says that it works for only pirate ship, luigi's mansion, and bridge of eldin, but it works for a bunch more.
A) Really? I don't see that this board is yours. And on the first post, he is pretty clear about it. He has a good deal of links that redirect to the support thread, so it's not all that hard.

B) Almost everyone knows that the code works on other stages.
