Warm ups/Registration - 12pm - 1pm
Melee/Brawl Doubles - 1pm - 5pm
Food Break/Friendlies - 5pm - 6pm
Melee/Brawl Singles - 6pm - 10pm

***Times are estimated. The venue closes at 1am, however if by some miracle the tournament is still running by then, we WILL finish.

- First Round -
Players alternate choosing a stage to "eliminate" from the list of available stages, starting with the player with the controller slot closest to #1. The last stage remaining is used for the first round of the set.

- Counter Pick Format -
(1) Winner of the Previous match bans a stage from the list of stages. Loser of the previous round announces the stage to be played - you may not choose a stage on which you have already won.
(2) Winner of the previous round selects character.
(3) Loser of the previous round selects character.

- Melee -

* Items are set to off
* The stock is set to 4
* 8:00 Timer
* All sets are best of 3 matches
* With the exception of Winner/Loser/Grand Finals - best of 5 matches
* In the event of a dispute, controller ports will be selected by Rock-Paper-Scissors
* No player may choose the stage they last won on
* Ties will be broken by lives, then percentage. In the event of a percentage tie, one stock sudden death will be played
* The Ice Climber Freeze Glitch is banned even though it's funny.
* Jigglypuff's rising pound stall is banned
* Peach's bomber stall beneath levels where she is unreachable is banned.
* Wobbling is banned
* Each player is allowed a random reset per set for the first match. A stage that is reset will not be played for the first match of a set, no matter how many times it randomly comes up.
* Neutrals may be banned.

If you are able to provide a TV, Wii/Cube, or copy of Brawl/Melee, please let me know and I will mark you down. The last tournament had 6 Melee set ups and it ran very smoothly. I would like for this tournament to have at least 6 set ups for each game.

My brother and I might be able to go to this. If we do then you guys should get Taj, Wobbles, Axe, Bryce, and all those ****ing awesome AZ guys out there lol.

EDIT: alright we want to go to this and by next week we'll know if our school schedules will allow it. If we do go then we'll leave friday, stay the night, compete, stay the night again, and Drive back sunday which means:

We'll need housing :D

Now we would prefer free housing if possible but if not then we are will to negotiate price (heres a deal for those of you who went to genesis. House us for free and we'll teach you one of our magic tricks your choice. Pretty sick deal huh? )

If enough OOS people come you should up the entrance fee to 10 dollars. Not much more out of pocket but the OOS people have higher odds of the trip actually being profitable.

It's a 13hr drive from Dallas. I don't see how I could make this ><

You spend the night in El Paso!!!!! easy breezy. We take 10-11 hours to houston everytime

You mean CO's Melee, CO sent a bunch of players for Brawl and it was awesome. Their Melee scene though, is dead.

yeah they had some good Brawl guys at ours.

I have 2 exams on the Monday after this! What are the ****ing odds. but get this, 5 exams in 5 different business classes are all on that day. So the professors are getting together to change the dates. Lucky? Hopefully. Even then I'd probably just be able to study on the drive back and Sunday night as well as the week(s) beforehand.
