Seriously. Me and my friend Sniperworm stumbled upon this on accident when Charizard Fsmashed right through Snake's grenade...unharmed. At first we thought that Charizard had fire invincibility during his Fsmash, which made sense, considering that he went through Snake's grenades and even Link's bombs with no problem. However, Sniperworm later figured out exactly what was going on.
During some frames of Charizard's Fsmash, he has transcendent priority invincibility. That means when Charizard is swinging his outrageous head forward, he has a short period of invincibility to things like Lasers, MK's sword, and explosions. We have successfully Fsmashed right through Falco's Laser, Bomb-Ombs, and even Samus' Grab. Generally speaking, all moves with transcendent priority. Fsmash also went through the explosions from T/Link's Bombs, Zelda's Fsmash, and even a PK Freeze iirc. More testing will be required.
Sadly, this isn't effective against Snakes who drop grenades and shield. While the Fsmash will go through the grenade normally, Charizard will still get hit if he Fsmashes a shield. This is due to the shieldstun, and that his invincibility wears off by that point.
Sadly, I don't have a video. But it's not that difficult to replicate this. Go try it yourself. :D
