You can unlock him by:

1. Finding him in SSE

2. Beating Classic after beating SSE

He's in there, in the same way Jiggs and Wolf are. There just not part of the main storyline.

I've seen the video with him in it. He's got a little opening cinematic thing.

You have beat SSE first time through and then when given the opportunity to go replay areas, three of them have hidden doors to battle against Jiggly, Wolf and TL.

set it to 1 stock special brawl HP battle with a fire flower on your head. set the computer's health to 1 begin go to another room and keep pressing start checking back every 15 minutes.

thats how i got everyone toon link was second to last

Toon Link seems to be a pain to unlock... I'll main him as soon as I unlock him, or when I'm just playing online matches. Is the hidden door in SSE really hard to find?

to unlock him beat SSE then go back to they forest area there will be a door in the air about4o secs in to the level depending on how fast you beat the first wave of bad guys you see a short cut of toon link then if you win the fight you unlock him

Toon Link has to be one of the best characters in the game, in my opinion.
Side note: When Lucas hugs Pokemon Trainer's head when he thinks they're gonna die...well...that's just too **** cute.

did anyone notice his hyrule shield he never ever had that before, they must have put it in for brawl!

It's the one he had in the game (Wind Waker). It's the Hero's Shield, not the Hylian Shield.
