This is the list of the falling speeds of each character in Brawl,
from Fastest to Slowest.
Note 1: This is intended to be TOP SPEED only. I haven't figured out the best way to calculate the top acceleration, although I'm sure that list is similar, although probably with less equals.
Note 2: Weight and Falling Speeds are much more correlative now, although there are a few exceptions.
Note 3: If you find this list to be innacurate in some spots, which it might be,, feel free to correct me. But only if you have tested it, not because "it looks wrong".
Note 4: This was tested by creating a stage with a bottomless pit and watching characters fall next to each other, and noting which character had a higher top falling speed.
Note 5: This was tested on the U.S. Version
Note 6: This was tested only with the human eye, so there may be room for error.
Note 7: Falling Speed doesn't seem to be quite AS important as it was in Melee, but its still noteworthy for many reasons.
The List (In order from fastest to slowest TOP falling speed)
= means two characters appeared with the human eye to have the
pretty much the same top falling speed.
> means that I could tell that this person(s) fell faster than the
other person(s), but it was very slight.
I think 1-6 could be considered "fast fallers"
and 37-39 might be considered "floaty"
1-3. King Dedede>Fox=Captain Falcon
4-5. Falco=Snake
6. Wolf
7-8. Ike=Ganondorf
9-13. Donkey Kong=Link=Sheik>Pikachu=Marth
14-17. Sonic>Diddy Kong=Pit=Zero Suit Samus
18-21. Lucas>Meta Kinght=Bowser=Wario
22-23. Ivysaur=Charizard
24-26. Squirle=Yoshi=Ness
27-31. Mario=Olimar=Toon Link>Mr. Game & Watch=Luigi
32-35. Kirby=Ice Climbers=Lucario=R.O.B.
36. Zelda
37-38. Samus>Peach
39. Jigglypuff
