So we did our best to get the best Final draft on these rules so gamers it is up to you to help us so we can have an awesome experience. We are not genius’s just gamers like you that want to have a good time. This hopefully will maintain that integrity. If you think there is something that needs to be added please feel free to comment as it will show how organize we all work together for a common cause.

RULES: SMASH BRAWL

GENERAL RULES

1. No stage may be used twice in a single match in a Best-Of-3 or Best-Of-5 Series. Random stages may be used twice in a Best-Of-7 Series
2. Each player can select one level that will not be played during their set of games after the characters have been selected in the first game. Random stages cannot be knocked out.
3. For the first game of a match, a player may call for a double-blind pick. This means that all participating players must tell a judge the character they will use for that game. Each player is required to use that character in the game.
4. After each game of a match, the player who lost the previous game may choose the stage for the next game or elect for it to be chosen randomly. After the stage has been selected, the winner of the previous game may change characters, then the losing player(s) may change characters.

Full Double Elimination: WINNERS and LOSERS brackets. The winners of the LOSERS bracket goes on to challenge the winners of the WINNERS bracket. In order for the winners of the LOSERS bracket to win the tournament(s), they have to defeat the winners of the WINNERS bracket for the duration of 3 FULL MATCHES.

What that means: for the winners of the LOSERS bracket to win the tournament, they will have to defeat the winners of the WINNERS bracket 3 out of 5 and then 3 out of 5 again. Whereas the winners of the WINNERS bracket will only have to defeat the challengers from the LOSERS bracket 3 out of 5.

SEEDING: The top 25% of the bracket will be seeded based on their previous results in SBN Smash Tournaments. The remainder of the bracket will be seeded randomly. Whenever possible, out-of-town players from the same area will not be paired against each other in the opening round.

We want this to go off with out a hold up if you wana bring a set up to help the tournament process please so will welcome the assistance. For helping out you will recieve extra tickets in the raffle for $100. so just for bringing some equipement you will get a chance to get some winner type money!!

Can visitors play casuals

Yes, visitors can play casual. The only rule we have is keep your games to best 2 out of 3 and if there is a tournament running do not use the consoles. There will be a casuals screen for that!!

I never been to an sbn event is there any others??? April 12th

Yes we encourage our scene members to get to know one another and we have a mini competiton the will be held Apri 12th at Fun Fair Arcade Come join us and be amongst the ranked crowd this will be videoed so dont miss it!!
