So this thread is under new management now. There will probably be some changes, but the point is to merely update this thread. If there is anything you want to add or correct please leave a comment.

Old Stuff = Regular Color
New/Verified Stuff = This Color

Because he does not remain the same size there are technicalities i would like brought to attention, i will express them as words and then define the state that it suggests.

(Shrunk: this signifies that while kirby is crouching, he is at the smallest possible size he can be. Associated with Breathing out.
Expanded: this signifies that while Kirby is crouching, he is at the largest possible size he can be. Associated with breathing in.) = Crouching

*SPECIAL NOTE: From now on "Shrunk" and "Expanded" with be clumped together. It will simply all be crouching. So far I have not found that there is a significant difference between the two. If something is found, it will be noted by the move using the terms "Shrunk" and "Expanded."

Neutral Taunt: This is a term i developed that signifies the psuedo taunt that character's exhibit when left idol for a period of time. There tends to be 2 N-Taunts while standing and one N-Taunt while crouching. The N-Taunt for Kirby is especially note worthy because when crouched it makes Kirby grow well past his Expanded state.

Against: Meaning that Kirby is positioned right next to his opponent.
Front: Meaning that Kirby is positioned in front of his opponent.
Behind: Meaning that Kirby is positioned behind his opponent.

Aim
: Referring to attacks that can be angled.

In the Air, Using Up b as an offensive move
On Yoshi Story(Brawl) if Kirby is on the right most edge of the stage(on the slant) if he crouches, Gannon can ONLY hit him with Dair, Utilt, Forward B from the stage, and his other aerials only if he jumps OFF the stage

i don't know what 'state' he was in at the time, but i swear i've seen kirby duck underneath falco's thrown reflector (down+b). if i'm wrong, my bad, but i've seen it happen on more than one occasion...

the reflector is a strange item to duck under, when i attempted, it hit more often than not and thus not a complete evasion

I'm VERY sure that Kirby can duck under Gannon's D-smash. I don't know about the expanded state, I'm normally not in that one.

For DK, are you saying he can dodge his Side-B and B (B is the Giant Punch) or just B.
I think Kirby can duck the side-B IF DK didn't short hopbefore doing it.

The thing I want to know is: What moves can/can't hit Kirby while he is in the middle of d-tilt?
Can it be placed into Expanded, Inflated, or N-Taunt? Or is it a completely different size?

Some moves might be dodged while ducking and facing away form the opponent while d-tilting and some could dodge a move then immediatly trip the guy.

I could prolly help with this when I get some time.

Thanks again for the list.

BTW.

You guys can crouch under the grab portion of Lucario's ForcePalm.

In other words, unless the Lucario crouch-cancels, you guys can Dtilt non-crouch-canceling Lucarios who use ForcePalm out of jabs instead of having to spotdodge, which is the core part of our mix-ups. Also, a small annoying thing is that our grab range is reduced when you crouch, so we have to dash-grab in order to grab you out of our jabs. Nothing major, but annoying.

In other words, you shut down the scrub Lucarios' jab mix-up games who don't crouch-cancel their jabs by using dtilt, but it doesn't affect the good ones who know about this and crouch-cancel.

Just noticed something in the Luigi section. If you're low enough you won't get hit by the sweat spot? lol

My god useful threads? In my kirby boards????? NO WAI. D:
When I was here a year ago, it was full of useful stuff, I guess the fans just post threads because they like Kirby. ♥

I'm glad this thread was bumped, because I learned somthing. :D ♥

I'd hang out here more if the threads were more useful. The Kirby guide that the traitor (lol) made still has an incomplete section. A new one should be made, this should be linked to, and this should be stickied.

EDIT: Asdioh, why were your videos of your matches removed?

You can duck Yoshi's Dash Grab. (If you do it right)
Im not sure of the timing because I have been able to duck under Yoshi's Dash grab many times and a few times I have ducked under TL's Grab. I think you need to be starting the duck as they hit Z. Cuz i think when he slams his body into the groud there is a few frames when he is smaller than a normal duck. Simular to when Kirby lands from the air.
