My Brinstar CP's on non MK's are to take advantage of Sonic's uber death spindash thing for the kill. I'm pretty sure dNES and Napilopez, maybe Umby (not sure if I showed him) all know what I'm talking about.

Since you're basically the Sonic tech wizard I'll throw them up but Camalange apparently HAS a stage discussion I didn't see......



Edit: Er.... actually there should be some debate before I throw them up.


I heard MK was GREAT on Rainbow Cruise.

I'll have to check that Brinstar thing out.....

Don't CP MK with Brinstar. You rack up damage quicker than normal, but the blastline proximity cause his Dsmash to KO quicker than normal as well.

If you can stand rainbow cruise, pick it against Ice Climbers. They get ruined there. :urg: You don't want to face them on FD or SV, or you will be chaingrabbed to death.... lots......

I can help you guys:

vs DK: Ban Brinstar, Norfair and maybe Jungle Japes. He can control the platforms with down B too easily...
vs Falco: Ban Jungle Japes, he outcamps everything there...it's his best stage
vs ROB: Ban Lylat for gods sake!!! Orpheon sucks vs ROB too as well as Luigis mansion
vs GaW: Most ppl don't know this but GaW >>> Everything ('cept MK) on the Pirate Ship. Ban it (+BF and RC)
vs Wolf: lives forever vs Sonic, if you play on SV, BF, Yoshi's (Brawl)...you may want to avoid jungle Japes too
vs Olimar: Pick Rainbow Criuse and ban Luigis Mansion
vs Tink: Never fight him on RC. He owns there....

Made changes. Hopefully I didn't mess any of them up. I put Japes as a CP for Falco for a second. XP

I question Yoshi's Island. The blast line is fairly highand MK is lighter vertically IIRC, MK lives forever and he doesn't have a lot of trouble scoring upB kills and Sonic is BAD there from my experience.

Also ban RC against MK yes?


Furthermore remember that stage spike we can do on DDD on BF?

I got it to work against a Sonic.

I also think banning Corneria against Fox is good but Shadow Moses Island is good. (I might have just played sucky foxes there) Sonic chases up higher and will score knockouts sooner. Foxes Up kills depend on Usmash and while that's CRAZY on Corneria he can't do as much on SMI if you stay on the bottom..

Wolf isn't that bad on Rainbow Cruise...maybe against Sonic but he has awesome aerial mobility....

Seriously, it's Falcon's best neutral stage, and by far Sonic's worst.
So it kinda makes sense, lol.


May as well stick Battlefield on ban for like every character except chubby bitches like Dedede and Bowser, hassling through platforms is fun.
It'd probably also limit Dedede's chaingrab on Sonic if you stayed on the platforms. Also, you can Dthrow him through the stage, which makes for your opponent literally screaming "WTF?!"

I'd assume Frigate Orpheon would be a good cp on Olimar. I don't play many Olimars though. Just sounds like it makes sense to me.

I fsj'd a Snake in the middle of the stage right before it flipped. He then floated underneath it to his doom. Frigate Orpheon <3 Oh, and shame on you people for not liking Battlefield.

Zamus kinda suffers with grappable (I can't work out whether that's a word or not : D) ledges.
I'll use Norfair as an example. If she tries to SH -> Side B you, it won't go for you, it'll go for the nearest platform to grapple instead of going for you. Considering this is her main KO move, it kind of hinders it.
