It's not so much they were dying, more like theres not much to Olimar that we haven't discovered/discussed as much as we need to.

I was actually kinda surprised at how much there was to find in Brawl, but I really doubt there's much left. How long did it take to find pretty much everything in Melee?

Sorry I have been practicing for HOBO 11 as well as getting a drivers license, My combo vid should be ready in a week(tried to keep it a secret) and my dtilt chart too, I don't think we are dying.

Another combo vid? I hope this one isn't just spikes and DThrow > Fair with an occasional Up B used as an attack - is it?!

Down Tilt has to be Olimar's best ground attack that isn't a grab, definately.

I love how I haven't posted a new thread in a while. How coincidental. ^____^

I've got some things for you guys to try out.

-Use upb after SHnairs. It'll boost you up and over shieldgrabs. You simply nair, DI towards your opponent, and upb over to their backside. They might even try to shieldgrab it or something. If they're Marth, they might upb. You can punish both.

-More pivotgrabs. >_>

-RARed dair. I'm not sure how it'd work, but try it out. If you don't get the spike, but instead hit them up and diagonally (which will happen if you hit them and it doesn't spike), you have a chance to stage spike if you're both below the stage.

-IC. I'm learning their chaingrabs. ^__^

Since the departure of TrueRedemption, the Olimar Boards fell apart. :(

Making a new Olimar Video Thread is much more time consuming that I planned...due to exams in 2 months time, I shall postpone my work till later...

i got 17th at the biweeklies :/ i got killed by frigate twice in a row
first stock it took my jump away
2nd stock it flipped when i was at the bottom and my pikmin got scattered

I got 25th at biweeklies. I had to play mikehaze first round, I almost beat his marth, and I ALLLLLMOST took out his MK, had it at 115% on the final stock on pokemon stadium but couldn't finish it off. then I choked against aphro, if I had beaten him i woulda played a snake and a DDD. the snake player i had been killing in friendlies, and DDD is, well, DDD.

i've actually never played teba, but his reputation definitely precedes him.

against aphro i destroyed his diddy, then he went DDD on rainbow cruise, and I totally screwed up, then i got rocked by his falco. the annoying this was, I two stocked his falco later on in crews -_-

yeah chaz is good, but he doesnt know the olimar matchup, so i abused him haha. i only played tloc once and i 2 or 3 stocked him lol.

meh, i had problems on jungle japes last time i played there, so i banned it. i guess banning RC is the way to go though.

yeah, get with a diddy player and play him for 4-5 hours straight, you'll get the hang of it haha. it's actually incredibly easy from what i've found out, ya just gotta know what to do. shield banana and grab, contol banana and throw pikmin, then throw banana, in that order. thats diddy in a nutshell :p

lol nice, you and i both had a crazy friendlies run there lol. i just realized i still havent played u 1-on-1 >.>

i've never had severe problems on japes, only when i mess up DI and get chain grab > spiked by falco >_> as you saw against creepy <_<

yeah, i need to go play pancho some more, diddy vs oli

i hate oli dittos >_> only time we played is when we destroyed you guys in doubles in the first biweeklies <3
