Hey guys! Some of you might know me or remember me from here a while ago. Well, I'm back.
.:: Note ::.
This team is far from final, and I'm just kind of theorizing one for Platinum. ;)

Yanmega @Focus Sash
Nature: Modest
Ability: Speed Boost
EV's: 252Sp.Atk/232Spd/20Hp
~Movepool:
Protect
HP[Fire]
Bug Buzz
Air Slash

Almost standard Yanmega lead. Protect for Speed Boost; Bug Buzz & Air Slash for STAB; HP[Fire] instead of Ice for leads like Bronzong, Weavile, Magnezone, Foretress, etc. which have become more popular.

Scizor @Focus Band/Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Technician
EV's: 228Atk/228Spe/52Hp
~Movepool:
Bullet Punch
Superpower
Pursuit
Swords Dance

Creozor; *Edit* Work in progress for now.
No U-turn due to lack of speed; Bullet Punch for first strike and STAB; Pursuit > Night Slash because I have Technician which makes this attack more beneficial; Swords Dance is the reason why I don't have 252 EV's in Attack. Super Power rids Heatran

Blissey @Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ability: Serene Grace
EV's: 148Hp/108Sp.Atk/252Def
~Movepool:
Calm Mind/Stealth Rocks
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam
Softboiled

CM/SRBliss. Not sure which to choose. I'm thinking Stealth Rocks. T.Bolt + Ice Beam for ultimate coverage; Softboiled to heal. Pretty standard.

Gyarados @Expert Belt(?)
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Intimidate
EV's: 142Atk/252Spd/116Hp
~Movepool:
Waterfall
Dragon Dance
Ice Fang
Earthquake

DDGyara, I believe. Correct some stuff if I'm wrong on it(not sure what he looks like).
Waterfall > Aqua Tail because I love accuracy; Dragon Dance explanitory; Ice Fang for Dragons; Earthquake for coverage.

Infernape @Life Orb
Nature: Naive
Ability: Blaze
EV's: 252Spd/232Sp.Atk/24Atk
~Movepool:
Close Combat
Grass Knot
Flamethrower
U-turn/Thunderpunch

Mix Ape. Life Orb for more juice in my attacks. Close Combat has STAB and *****; Flamethrower > Fire Blast for accuracy; Grass Knot for Bulky waters and Rhyperior; I'm thinking Thunderpunch > U-Turn for more coverage and Gyarados.

Dusknoir @ ? (need help)
Nature: Calm
Ability: Pressure
EV's: 252Hp/8Atk/125Def/125Sp.Def
~Movepool:
Pain Split
Shadow Sneak
Ice Punch
Will-o-Wisp

My Staller. EV's for survivability; Pain Split to recover; Shadow Sneak for STAB and first strike; Ice Punch for Dragons; Will-o-Wisp for status effect. Pretty basic.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Extras:

Forretress @Macho Brace
Nature: Relaxed
Ability: Sturdy
EV's: 252Hp/176Def/80Atk
~Movepool:
Gyro Ball
Earthquake
Spikes
Stealth Rocks

Set up. EV spread is one I really like. Great lead.

Weavile @Focus Sash(?)
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Pressure
EV's: 252Atk/252Spd/6Hp
~Movepool:
Ice Punch
Night Slash
Brick Break
Pursuit(?)

Weavile. I've never used him before, so, he's new to me.

In conclusion, this is just a theorized team so far, and isn't final. We still have ways to go for Platinum to release, so I have time. So please, don't just look at my team, rate it! :)

CMBliss, plz. If you get it set up, everything aside from Magnezone, Lanturn, Shedinja, and sometimes other Blissey/Snorlax will die if they don't kill you first.

I see 6. Rhyperior isn't good enough to actually be played.

Yeah I noticed the Foretress is only a sub lead. I also really would like to see a playable Rhyperior. I love that thing.

Forretress is NOT actually on the team!

I see 6. Rhyperior isn't good enough to actually be played.
:link:
Why not? If so, I'll switch him to something.

Yeah I noticed the Foretress is only a sub lead. I also really would like to see a playable Rhyperior. I love that thing.
Oh, good. I thought you didn't notice.
Not that one, anyway >>;
Why don't you actually help me then? This thing has actually worked in D/P(besides Aqua Tail), to let you know.
If he's that big of a deal, I can try and find a replacement.

I guess the rest of my team is fine, then? El oh el I'm here for advice. How about my Dusknoirs item?

Come on, guys! Do justice!

I kind of stopped playing a little after D/P came out, and back then, Rhyperior was god.
What happened?

Well guys, switched Rhyperior and threw in DDGyara. Good replacement? I think so. If his stuff is wrong(I don't know too much about him), please help me fix it.

real men use 252 att aqua tail.
:link:
I'm a girl then.[/SARCASM]

I'm an Accuracy fanboy, and like the flinch. Waterfall has good power as well.
252 in speed rather attack because Gyarados is a monster to begin with, and I have Dragon Dance Backing me up. Wanted some more HP for survivability as well.

I do need help with a few items I have though.

Yanmega @Focus Sash

Scizor @Focus Sash/Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Technician
EV's: 228Atk/228Spe/52Hp That speed doesn't really help much, use 216 Atk and redistribute your speed/HP
~Movepool:
Bullet Punch
Superpower
Pursuit
Swords Dance

Creozor; Haven't seen anything like this on him, so unless it's already taken, I claim its set and copyright name. I think it has the potential to become one of the standard Scizor sets in Platinum.
No U-turn due to lack of speed; Bullet Punch for first strike and STAB; Pursuit > Night Slash because I have Technician which makes this attack more beneficial; Swords Dance is the reason why I don't have 252 EV's in Attack. Super Power rids Heatran

Consider Flamethrower for Scizor.

Gyarados @Expert Belt(?) Life Orb/Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Intimidate
EV's: 142Atk/252Spd/116Hp 252 Atk/184 Spe/72 HP This is DD Gyara.
~Movepool:

Dusknoir @ ? (need help) Leftovers
Nature: Calm
Ability: Pressure
EV's: 252Hp/8Atk/125Def/125Sp.Def That 8 Atk isn't going help you 2-3hko anything.
~Movepool:
Pain Split
Shadow Sneak
Ice Punch
Will-o-Wisp

My Staller. EV's for survivability; Pain Split to recover; Shadow Sneak for STAB and first strike; Ice Punch for Dragons; Will-o-Wisp for status effect. Pretty basic.
Make this into a defensive wall you can pair with Blissey.

Weavile @Focus Sash(?)

Brick Break
Pursuit(?) Swords Dance - This makes your Focus Sash useful.

Weavile. I've never used him before, so, he's new to me.

Thanks for some of the help guys. EL oh el @ some of my EV's. Typo's >_>.

I'll study a little more before I come back[with a vengance]!

I don't know where to input calculations for KO's, etc. Can someone link me? Also, if it's not self explanitory, can you give me sort of a rundown on how to use it.

I prefer metalkid's damage calculator: http://www.metalkid.info/Pokemon/OnlineProgram/Calculators/DamageDP.aspx

All you do is choose the attacking Pokemon, ability, items, IVs(although we should always assume 31), EVs, attack stage(growth, growl, tail whip and all that), attack, type, power, conditions, weather, etc.
Metalkid has it's issues. Abilities that decrease/increase damage like Solid Rock or Tinted Lens can't be factored in, even with the "Activate Ability" option.
