Green Greens Glitch?

I was playing my brother on Green Greens one day. I was Snake he was Falco... and the blocks on the right side became a wall of explosions. It was like a grenade was constantly going off in a pillar from the bottom to the top. There didn't need to be an explosive block for you to get hit. I don't know what happened, and I am curious if anyone else knows what caused it.

ive seen this before look it up on youtube i believe there is something like this

It's caused by Snake's manliness.

I don't have a clue, I've never seen this glitch before.

It's an invisible wall of explosions, making it impossible to pass through it. Plain epic. I heard of it near Brawl's release.
