The Official Alabama Brawl Power Rankings UPDATED December 19, 2009

Previously, us Alabamians were lumped in with the Mid-South, and for good reason, there were only a few of us that really played. But this has changed, as now Alabama is home to dozens of up and coming Brawlers, and hosts several tournament series. This being so, we have decided to branch off from the Mid-South and form our own Power Rankings because we feel that many of our great players would not have gotten the same recognition otherwise.

The Alabama PR panelists were chosen after a discussion and vote among several of our states active smashers, including DanGR, Cheap, Elev8, Kola, Reflex, ShaSLAM, munkus beaver, and Cam

Also included is a list of Honorable Mentions. Honorable Mentions are people who received some votes, but not quite enough to make the actual list.

As always if you disagree with your placement, or feel you should be on the list, come out to tournaments and prove us wrong!

Apparently, the idea is so that he can show everyone that he deserves a much higher spot on here; it's more objective if he plays as many people on the list as possible. I guess a money match solidifies its importance. :/

he probably does deserve a higher spot, and playing everyone is a good way to get on there.

unfortunately i dont have any MM funds so maybe i will see him in tourney

His tag is Elev8, and he plays a very good Dedede. Dabbles in other characters, but he sticks to Dedede in a tough spot.

I'd say Elev8 is around 6th. If he MM'ed everybody, his most contested matches would probably be Munkus and Moogle. Nice1 would also be close due to easy counterpicking(Falco to D3, etc.) and similar skill levels.

I agree. Elev8 deserves higher than 10th.
Reflex is a monster.

2. i thought nice1 was from georgia. didnt know he was from alabama

thats the only reason he made the list actually. otherwise he'd probably be tied with j00t and pr0t0.
it's simply a matter of us not knowing him very well,

tru i haven't been to tournies since IC2 but i only go if there are a lot of people. yes, it may be an excuse but i do place well when there are a lot of people. So unless there are a lot of people at a tourney most likely i won't attend.

i understand well the next tourney i'll be at is Final Round hopefully you'll be able to make it cuz i wanna play you too along with the others. Hopefully when i get a car i'll be able to make it to more b-ham tourneys
