Of course! This is the community center and how could it be a community center without a good dose of socializing? Really, I see this as a general chat between Zelda players that does not have to stick to the character. I will keep up with anyone who posts their mini-profiles and keep them in the regional areas and on the master list. Everyone else can work on making this one of the most posted in threads on the boards (between the matchup thread and video thread, we have our work cut out for us).

If you have any suggestions, just let me know!

Update 3: I added Top 5 secondaries and top 5 teammates for Zelda along with some cosmetic upgrades and the addition of Riot in the regional areas. Keep on posting guys!

I go G&W vs Peach. There is no way I am risking my beautiful princess against that floaty *****. I haven't done my profile yet, but I use G&W and Marth for my secondaries.

I've noticed when it comes to fighting games (Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Smash Bros) I always "main" a girl. It is not even a conscious decision; I just play them better.

I'm in the Pacific West. Peach is a pretty strong secondary for me and definitely has Zelda's back in my tougher matchups like MK and Oli. I also like Ganon.

I live in the UK, Greater London.
I play in quite a few local tournaments. There are at least 3 a week.
I don't play against 'famous' players, but I play against a lot of people. 3 Characters I have most practise with are Falco, Marth and Lucario.
I've only ever teamed up with a Falco or Marth.
Red costume is amazing! Then purple or black if I'm in the mood. Blue is nice too =D
I've just started maining Sheik properly, but I normally go all Zelda.
I second Peach, Diddy... then D3 and Rob.

Every girl in these games seems to be able to kick the crap out of someone, quite literally. You can even count someone like Tifa from Final Fantasy decided weapons were below her. How can you not like a girl who would rather use her own hands than a sword/gun/arrow to kill their opponent?

If you are in the northern part of VA, then you should think about Chu's Bi-Weeklies. A simple $5 to enter for some great fun.

I have that movie on DvD you really made me wanna watch it. I used to play as Chun-Li as well.

They are making a live-action street fighter movie focusing on the origins of Chun-Li. I hope its good. Anyone know whats up with that? like a release date or anything?

I wish it was animated. I don't how the actress Chun Lis gonna look like. Plus you can do more special effects hehe. But I hear it's coming out in 2009

But I don't like how they always make her look muscular in some pics :dizzy:

Thanks for the add up there, suppose I should answer your questions now. RedSnowman, I go by the tags rsnow and grizz. I have never been to a tournament but would love to. I normally play with my roomies, one who is a Luigi main, the other mains MK. I mainly wear Red now, followed by black. I dunno Zelda just owns repping the red. My secondaries... well I actually have a pretty decent Wolf. He's like a 2nd main almost, and I have a less than stellar Ike.

As far as secondaries go, I use Fox and Yoshi. Random box as a third.
My teammate in doubles uses Falco. He's not on SWF though.

O_o So many Chun-Li players here. =p I rather main Cammy in SF if I had to choose between the two. But Karin is teh best in SF even if she is a minor character. ;_;

Other female characters I main in fighting games:
