-Infinity vs See.Why (CY) EPIC MM! Watch as one of the best Metaknight players in Texas takes on a trashtalker who claims Infinity is nothing without Meta.
-Melee1 returns to defend his title!- the winner of Final Smash 4 comes back to San Antonio to defend his honor as the current champion!
-North Texas vs South Texas Crew Battle!-10 players from each half of Texas will duke it out in a formal crew battle! FIRST OF ITS KIND! DON'T MISS IT!

Entry Fees:

Venue Fee: $5 for a wristband. You will need this to be allowed into the tournament area.

FREE Thrive Energy Drink for everyone that gets a wristband. Extra drinks are only $1.00 after that.

For both Brawl and Melee:

Singles: $10 per player
Teams: $10 per team
Side events: $5 per player


Prize Layout:

All MAIN events will pay out as such:

1st: 55%
2nd: 25%
3rd: 10%
4th: 5%
5th: 2.5%
5th: 2.5%

All SIDE events will pay out as such:

1st: 60%
2nd: 25%
3rd: 15%

General Rules:

Double Elimination
Best 2/3 matches
Finals (Winners, Losers) will be best 3/5 matches
Grand Finals are best 4/7 matches

Pausing will result in the loss of a round unless the opponent lets it slide.

All button changes MUST BE DONE before the rounds begin.

If any rules are broken, you should report WHEN IT HAPPENS, not after the fact.

California strike system:

At the start of the first round, players flip a coin. Players then take turns to eliminate stages one by one until there is only one remaining. The remaining stage will be used.

ALL Stall tactics such as MetaKnight's Infinite Dimensional Cape glitch are banned, unless they are for recovery purposes.

ATTENTION ANYONE WHO IS DRIVING TO FINAL SMASH 5:

THE LOOP 410/BANDERA EXIT WILL BE CLOSED SO TAKE THIS ROUTE

IF YOU ARE COMING FROM I-10 OR I-35

It seems every time I have a big tournament they close this extremely important exit.

OPTION 1:If you take 410 W take I-10 W to Huenber Rd and make a left at the light. Take it all the way down to where it intersects Bandera Rd and Gamelot will be on your right.

OPTION 2: take Loop 1604 W until you reach the Bandera exit and take a left, heading down until you see Huenber, where you will take a left, and Gamelot will be on the corner with the Church's chicken.


The doors open at NOON, aka 12 pm

If things go correctly I will have everything set up on Friday night so we're not having to scramble things together like the previous tournaments. HOWEVER I will ask Cliff to see if he's willing to have the doors open a little earlier. I will repost if that opens and update accordingly.

Monthly2 wasnt advertised as much. You can guaruntee about 25ish ppl from San Antonio/Austin. Maybe Hylian or Kal will get their whole community to make the 2 hour drive.

Im trying to do it. But family issues have prevented me from guaranteeing it. I'll know for sure by new years whether or not I will. Dojo/Santi/Cake are already taking dibs if I do. I can easily take another 5, or 10 (if you dont mind sleeping on the ground with a blanket). Basically, just post if you need it.

Playing Alex19 almost every week has made me a lot better than most recent tournaments. I hope to do awesome in Melee.....

but this time I need someone who can manage the tournament for 10-15 minutes without having to yell out my name while I play my matches.

how does melee tournaments attendace usually goes?
from valley it will be me and mikey and some random people we pick on the street so they pay for gas.

pretty sure el paso can bring two wiis and maybe a TV. I know I'll be taking my wii and duffman pretty much takes his everywhere but idk.
