We once had a topic like this, but it looks like it's gone oO (it wasn't up to date anyway).
So here is a new version. If you guys like to use the old version: feel free to do so.

Information I need:
SWF discussion topic - (link to the most current topic)
power ranking topic - (same as above)
website/forum url - (please dont list all random forums, only the most active one)
Social Group - (link to the swf social group of the country, if available)
contact person - (this should be someone who is allready a respected member of swf/their community, please also give a link to his smashboards profile)

If you can incorporate the information in the other thread in this one I'll replace it. I'm currently a bit busy, so I'm hoping you can fill this one in and I'll help out later. Of course Utto and Fuzzy are free to handle this as they see fit.

I think we SHOULD have links to the bigger and more international tournaments here, just to make the community more aware of the goings in other countries and provide all the info in one place. Like yesterday I couldn't find smashers reunion topic cause it had dropped to the second page and I wasn't sure where it was. <_< ESA3 is all about all european countries coming together to the biggest euro tournament, I think it is at least somewhat relevant to this discussion since the aim of this topic is to knit the european community together more closely. Should ofc be made into it's own topic.

I've updated most of the information for each country, there might still be stuff to add, unfortunately i won't be able to find it, so I need help from the people who live there.

Sry for double posting i just felt like this needed a little bump.
(Also i didn't notice that i was the last one who posted lol)

Looks good. You might want to rearrange the countries by alphabet (I don't know what determined the order for you). Keeping it up to date is the real issue, but it should be doable.

Yeah good idea, i'm going to rearrange them by alphabet (the current order is just random, the first countries are the ones where i got the information first).
Keep it up to date shouldn't be any problem at all, because general discussion topics, websites and power rankings shouldn't change too often.

I guess you could put Iceland on that list if you feel like it.

We don't really have an big scene here, but we have a few people here who play smash so if anyone is here on a vacation or something and wants some smash I could probably arrange a little smash meeting of some sorts.

We used to have a forum but the website got hacked and we didnt bother putting it back up because it wasnt really active.

so ... yeah, just put me up there as a contact member(I have my msn address visible in my account).

Btw, we mostly play melee =)

No, we don't. I am the only active Icelandic member here on smashboards as far as I know. We communicate mostly through msn&phone.

Well, actually, I made a thread for Icelandic people about two years ago but only 2 people replied and I haven't been able to contact them at all and their last log in was in 2007. I also made a thread for a little tourney I held but the people who replied to that thread are very inactive and rarely visit this forum unless I link them to something here.

I still think it would be helpful to put Iceland on that list and just have me as a contact person there would do good things for reasons mentioned in my previous post.
