Many of you are/will be invited to join the HedgeFalcon alliance. This alliance is made, to improve the meta game of both falcon and sonic.

So in this thread, I'll introduce you to captain falcon. I'll post links to importatnt threads on the falcon board, and hope the sonic mains, and mainly those who play falcon as a secundary, will start visiting the falcon board regularly, to improve/contribute to falcon's metagame development. So please follow the links and become an active poster on the falcon boards too.

A thread like this can be made over at the falcon boards too, by a sonic main.

Although you now must be able to play Captain Falcon as a strong secondary.

I'm sure everybody can do this because said people have played Falcon at least once for teh lulz.

I like to Falcon Kick as a punisher/approach because it usually works. O.O

The ending lag makes it always a risk though.
Unless you learn the ledge cancel positions by heart, and even then, it is a risk at it depends on your opponents reaction/action.

Yeah I know, that's why I don't use it unless I know my opponents are going to get hit by it and they won't hit me back. O.o

Wich you can never know for certain, unfortunatly. unless they just broke their shield.:)

My Falcon is the closest thing that I'll ever have to a secondary. It started out as a fun-char, but then I started to work on it a little more. I've been using the 'nudge combo' forever, and recently started messing around with what seems to be a Sonic equivalent of the move (N-air [adjusted timing]) > D-tilt).
9__9; I practice a ton of 'basic' Smash moves (dodge punishing, etc) with Falcon, since I tend to be way too spin-cancel bait-based with Sonic.

I'll admit, that's good. But the Sawnik Pawnch has properties like Ganon's Utilt. People just get sucked into it.

You know, I've never really sat down and played Falcon for real. Not even in Melee. Every time I tried to play him the match always turned into Falcon Punches only. I'm sure if I practiced a bit and study his techniques I could put up a decent challenge, but all of my attention is currently focused on the not-as-manly Sonic.

We already stole Ayaz, lol.

You know what's fun with Falcon? Dash dancing > Falcon Dive. It works very well for me and it shield pokes if you space it perfectly ;o

I need to catch up on the Falcon boards though, so that is probably all very old news, lol.
