DeDeDe '08 Superlatives!

Inspired by various character boards!​

Since the year is over, lets hand out superlatives/awards to the members of the King DeDeDe Boards regarding what they've done in '08. I'll make this simple, just post an award and who you think should get it. You may not nominate yourself for an award, but I will add all nominations to the OP for all to see. We've all been discussing our character in depth, and I feel this is a nice break and reward for all the hard work we as a community have contributed. Enjoy, and most importantly, have fun!

I'll start off, and my post can be used as the example format.

Most likely to make another useful thread.
Most entertaining/best DeDeDe combo video of '08.

One half of the Wonder twin combo.
Least deserving of the butt hurt he received by Chu Dat.

Funniest poster on our boards, hands down.
Best thread of '08.
Most likely to be top tier, IRL.

Most likely to improve.

Coolest DeDeDe
Most magical (2x)
Chocolate Mountain of Love.
Runner up for funniest poster.

Foursaken
Most likely to start an awards thread, even if he forgets how dead these forums are.
Best random information, and most likely to do Gate's work for him.
Least likely to be circumcised.
One of the few Green DeDeDe mains.
The other half of the wonder twin combo.

Best doubles videos (D3 runs C3)
Will be missed the most.
Most likely to go on a rant.

I agree with everything Foursaken said except "best thread". To me a good matchup thread updates after each discussion and I haven't updated it in...I think we're coming close to 3 months now. TBH I'm really disappointed in myself and it seems like I should do some matchup writeups instead of trolling the MK boards. =/

I also disagree with the useful thread thing. Nobody makes useful threads anymore lol. jk jk

now since I am like " new " to this board I know a little about people here but the little time here I go

Shut up, Gates! Breathing life into already dead forum is tough. It'll either require hard work, which I'm hoping will pay off on mine and the community's part, a new tier list, which is coming tomorrow, or some sort of magic. Where's Fogo when you need him?

@ RATED: That match was crazy. I assumed Omni was having an off day, while Lain was bringing his A game. I tried out Lain's style of fighting MK earlier today and it works ridiculously well. When your dancing around just outside of their realm of punishment, it makes finding holes and exploiting them super easy since most MK's play the rush down game.

I will try that tomorrow or next smashfest at home , today I did one , but I did to record only one single and it was with my snake vs MK.

i wouldnt rly say i switched to mk after all. i definately picked him up and I'd DEFINITLY use him in bad matchups, uncomfortable stages, but i still main DDD... i think


its either DDD or Snake, but i use ddd to start most sets off in tourny.

Lmao that's actually true.

I don't ever plaining mk... I basically quit him because hes too "gay" and I hate using him.
I only use him vs Mk18 when he wants some mk practice.

Right now I like Dedede,Link,Snake,Luigi. I have fun with those 4 the most.
