Smashers' Reunion 4th instalment was held in Norway 26-29 of December 2008 and now the videos are here for your viewing pleasure. =) AJP Anton has been awesome enough to provide us with his 133t quality videos once again, but youtube streams are not available yet. Last of the finals were not recorded unfortunately, as AJP had to leave early.

I highly recommend downloading them though, 60fps with extreme quality and minimal disk space needed is a offer you don't wanna turn down, at least not for these. =P Use the handy search tool to search your favourite players from the midst. For streams, type &fmt=18 in order to see in high quality. As per usual, trollers, spammers, flamers and idiots are not welcome in this thread and will be swiftly met with a stitchface in da face.

and by the way, your order seems to be mixed up in DJ Black's set vs Calle W..

hate the fact that finals didn't get recorded, they were all by far the best sets of the entire tournament (including loser's finals between Nea and Calle W) Uploading the set between Calle and DJ Black as we speak

Winners and losers quarter and semifinals are still finals, and I mentioned in the beginning of the post that the last of the finals weren't recorded, so it's their own fault for expecting things if they don't read.

No, they aren't finals, every round is a "something"-final. It's misleading.. It appears to me that Smashers are only familiar with gaming tournaments, and not sport >_> having lot of misconceptions when it comes to these things.

It does not matter whether people are familiar with sports or other gaming communities or whatsoever. Smash community seems to have labeled the finals as such and I have no plans on not following that route, thusly quarter and semifinals are under the finals as a whole here as well. They are one of the latest matches from the whole bracket as well, so I don't see a problem with marking them as blue or putting them under the finals so people see them easier. Grand finals I'd have made bigger to separate them from other final matches.

Smash is not traditional sport like football anyway, so it's not mandatory for us to keep it as similar as possible. And when community as a whole uses the same system, it's not misleading then.

Actually I can't imagine that the smash community at large would consider "the finals" to refer to something other than "the match which determines who gets 1st place in the tournament".

Fo as long as I remember, quarterfinals, semifinals, winners final and gran final have been on use. Simply saying the finals refers to the grand finals true, but the other matches can go under the header "final", as they've been labeled as such.

I'll soon update the "finals" with stream options.

No, even pool matches (and friendlies) got recorded. They just haven't been identified yet; which is why they are in the "UNIDENTIFIED" folder on AJP's FTP..
