Hello, this is where I'll keep all of my tournaments from now on, as a service to these boards. It seems lately that there has been an overflow in tournaments, so by combining all of my tournaments, I'll reduce the amount of threads in this forum. Most of them have either been canceled or incomplete.
So just check in here for all the updates and future tournaments to come!

Rules​
(Edited for Online Play)

* 3 Stock

* Double Elimination

* Losing player may counterpick stage and/or character.

* 8 minute timer

* Items are set to "off" and "none"

* All sets with the possible exception of winner's finals, loser's finals, and the championship are best of 3 matches (best of 5 and above is recommended for any "finals" matches)

* No player may choose a stage they have already won on in that set unless agreed upon by both players.

* If the timer runs out, the victor is determined first by stock and then by percentage.

* Metaknight's Infinite Cape glitch is banned.

* If a game ends with Bowser doing his suicide klaw and it ends in sudden death, the sudden death will be ignored and that game will count as a win for Bowser.

* In case of D/C or unplayable lag, and continued attempts fail, the match will be decided by a coin flip.

* Stalling is banned.


Stalling: The act of deliberately avoiding any and all conflict so that one may make the game unplayable. Running away from an opponent to reach a better position is not stalling, while doing an infinite grab endlessly against a wall is. Any infinite chain grabs most end quickly after 300% has been reached so as to prevent excessive stalling.

Biography and Tournament Information


I'll use this post to tell about myself, past tournament information, and upcoming tournaments to look out for!


About me​


I'm young, 15 years old, a ambitious brawl player. I've been a smash fan since I was a kid, but only got into it competitively when brawl came out. Planning on making my first debut at some of the local San Diego tournaments sometime in the next few months. I've made a lot of friends and progress after joining smashboards, hosting 5 successful online tournaments! I'm easy to get along with as long as you aren't a complete *******. I love talking about anything really. And I'm always open for friendlys, here is some of my Brawl Bio

Least favorite characters to play against - Snake, Ice climbers, GNW
I have played over 6500 online wifi matches

Past Tournament information​

B. B.O.T 1 (Melee Mayhem)-
The only legal characters are those that appeared in Melee. The only legal stages are those that appeared in Melee. 32 participants.

B. B.O.T 2 (Spam and Camp)-
Simple enough, characters known for annoyance and spamming are allowed. Along with stages that compliment spam. 32 participants

B. B.O.T 3 (Homesick Heroes)-
You choose one character (any) to use throughout the tournament. And you have to battle on their "home" stage. For example, with mario, you could choose from some of the stages like..Mario brothers, delfino plaza, Mushroomy kingdom, etc. You have to play on your opponents homestage as well. 32 participants.

B. B.O.T 4 (Fat man and little boy)-
This one was interesting too. You pick one character from each weight category. And you have to win with both of the characters you chose. 32 participants.

B.B.O.T 5 (LolStages)-
All stages are legal. 32 Participants.

Sbr Rulesets are...double elimination, counterpick is allowed. IDC and stalling is banned. 8 minute timer, 3 stock no items. best 2/3. Semis best 3/5 etc etc..

I can't really say much more than what is already said. However, what are the policies on the possible neutrals and possible CP's that are left to the TO's decision in the list. Also, still the usual 1 character limit?
