There is zero reason to believe that's the case,
plenty of reason to believe it's not the case,
and overwhelming good reason to justify not looking into this question further (doing something else with your time instead).

Well, I personally would say no. Projectiles are a key part of Link's game. Without them, we would be below Captain Falcon. It's the only thing that sets Link apart from the rest of G tier.
