This is the Table of Contents for The OTL. I've decided to also keep track of the Tourneys that are currently in progress to keep this place organized.

This is the best place for anyone looking for information on Tourneys going on, finding ranking threads, and about everything that's on these boards. Any newcomers should check here first to see what the OTL boards currently has to offer, as in tournament opportunities. Hopefully, this will allow Smashers new and old to find the information they need. I've been able to add everything up to the tourneys itself. They should all be there very soon and always be updated as soon as possible.

I. Updates:

4/16- If Whatever Reason your Tourney is not up here, pm me so I can put it up here, but mainly the cause not all might be on there is because I'm not exactly sure if it was wanted/going to continue.

4/16- I'm currently adding the new tourneys and the current active tourneys on the list. I'm also adding some other non-tourney threads that have been made since the last update.


II. The Tournament Making Guide:

Your want to make a tourney, but you need help? Or did you just get a low rating on your tourney?
There is guide written above for you to give you ideas on how to go through with your tourney.
Even if your you have made successful tourneys in the past, you should read through it because there is still room for improvement. (It may even help you earn stickies)

Also, If you started to notice, there is many tournaments going on at the moment and it has come that many have failed. Its time some host went through and read and make sure your not doing anything wrong. In conclusion, this is probably one of the most important, possibly epic reads in the OTL that helps you prosper around here.​

III. Current Tournaments in Progress

If a tourney has a low rating, don't get the idea that its a bad tourney and don't join. In my eyes each and everyone can be a successful tourney. Its just some host make a bit more success no matter what they face through experience. Also I've taken in these following things mind during my evaluation of these tourneys (some tourneys show these qualities better than other, which makes all the difference):

1. Director reputation. Plain and simple, if you've shown you can successfully run a tournament online you're more likely to get a sticky awarded.

2. Tournament size. Larger tournaments need more help than smaller ones. I'll make my decision according to such.

3. Creativity. This is a tricky topic, mostly because it's so subjective. I'll try to get a good blend of innovation while staying true to the competitive nature of this site. I'm also a fan of creative names (not required, but I definitely favor them over "Online Tournament #4!")

4. Presentation. It's really not terribly hard to make a nice looking OP. Keep it organized, throw in some color, check for grammatical errors, the whole deal. If all else fails, ask around. There are several directors here who are more than capable of helping with the design.

I'd recommend anyone in joining any tourney you wish and I hope you show me what you can do.

IV. Chat Rooms.

The OTL people has made two-four chat rooms for your future usage when it comes to you needing a chat for your tourney or just a place to hang. You can use them at anytime of your liking. We hope that by using these rooms that it can make your tourneys run smoothly like it has done to mine. Even though I (Shadow) don't use these chats, I happen to host in my own room and it works easier for me.

I pretty much abandoned it, and it's pretty useless, lololol.
It got 3 stars anyways, thats like a D minus!

At least half (80 percent more like) those tourneys are gone now and there is 2 new ones. <.<

There you read the rules and sign up.

haha, yea well I looked at S.O.L.I.D.'s but you havet to have 40 posts....lame!!!! good to see you on the board Blank, wasnt sure if you used the same name as on faux finder. oh and btw I would like to do a "real" set with you later tonight if your online, I get off work at 9.
