I will most likely be renting the party room at my apartment plus my apartment will be open too

Anyone who wants pizza and pop let me know and everyone can contribute to it my Girlfriend is a delivery driver for a pizza shop so we get good deals


Melee Doubles will start at 12:00
Melee singles will start 30 minutes after doubles finish

Single $10
Doubles $10 per person
Venue $5 waived for set ups and tv's we need them so bring them the more the better





Rules
This will be a double elimination tournament.
* Items off.
* Ties are broken by remaining lives, then %. If both criteria are tied, then the Sudden Death match will be played out.
* First stage is random from the Neutral stages listed below.
* The loser of the first match will announce a new stage to play on for the next game. The winner will then be allowed to switch characters, followed by the loser. Apply the same logic for the third match (and fourth/fifth when applicable) if there is one. (Advanced Slob Picks)
* No stage may be used twice in a single set if the counter-picking player has already won on that stage, unless the opponent agrees to use the stage again. (Dave's Stupid Rule)
* Double Blind character pick can be called at anytime before the first game of a set starts, and only apply to the first game.
* Each person may choose one stage to be disabled for the entire set at the START OF THE SET, after characters have been chosen but before the random stage has been picked. You may ban neutral stages.
* Controller Mods, Glitches (IC Freeze Glitch, Mewtwo Soul Stunner, etc), and tactics used to stall a match (wall-bombing, rising pound), are banned.
* FF will be on in teams
* Wobbling is banned

Oh I'll definitely hit that up. I'll be there the 25th with a few other CF guys, assuming they're willing to skip class which I don't doubt they will be.

EDIT: Actually, I ****ed up that date. Most likely not going to be able to make it to this.

How much is the party room? I took a look in there, That room could hold like 50. Your place has decent space as well.

I'm pretty sure most of you are familiar with the venue. I know melee has been pretty crappy at TYM in the past but if there's enough interest it can probably be pretty legit. Plus there's tons of advance notice. The date isn't set in stone yet but I'd need a pretty compelling reason to change it (like a melee circuit event on the same day or something)
