Link's Stale Move Deterioration

This section will detail the properties of Link's stale move deterioration. I have started it off using sweet spotted attacks, and will I add sour spotted versions of attacks if possible. Many of Link's attacks have several hitboxes, and so you will see every respective hit with a percentage of its own. If you wish to find out the overall percentage dealt of a move, simply add the values up which are grouped together by hyphens. Any corrections in the data, grammar, layout, and terminology are appreciated and welcome, lets get this as accurate as possible!

:How To Read:

Move : Hitbox Number : Consecutive Hit Number = Percent

Move: This section tells you what move the attack is.

Hitbox Number: Tells you what hitbox number of the move is being shown. [Ex: "1" means the first hitbox of the attack]

Consecutive Hit Number: The number of instances of this move in the stale-move ticker before the attack. [Fresh is the first time use, but is counted as 0]

Percent: The damage dealt from the move/hit. You will notice the percent furthest left is a pale green, while the one furthest right is the same. This shows what the move decays down to.

Astericks: Moves that have been Xyro'fied. (or are for sure legit)

It might be better to treat Fresh as 0 for this column. That way, it would be a count of "the number of instances of this move in the stale-move ticker before the attack."

Also, you should simplify the "Hit number" labels to "1", "2", and so on, instead of "Hit 1", "Hit 2" etc. It bothers the eyes and crowds the chart.

Or perhaps a middle ground is best: "#1," "#2," etc.

Thanks for your input PK. I'll change that. Jabs should be up today, if anything further then that, expect one hit moves to be added next. If any of you ever wish to see what I'm working on for this chart, just go down to the pink text and read the to-do list. You can even help do something if you really want.

Where are the sweet spots for f-smash d-smash and utilt? You are blowing my mind away because 22% on utilt seems too good too be true.

The D-Smash and F-Smash data are under the "Smashes" section. Keep in mind these are fully charged smashes, and so they deal enormous damage when and if both hits connect. For example, a fully charged, sweetspotted F-smash does 45%. The U-tilt is unfortunatly a mistake though...I must have been looking at the second hit of D-Smash. It's really 9%. Thanks.

No, only sourspotted and sweetspotted attacks are in the guide. This will eventually detail move decay.

I'll check that out, with so much data it's easy to get things wrong. I really appreciate your help, especially this early on. Imagine if I would of had all the data for the incorrect percentages calculated already...I'd have to do it all over again. :laugh:

Programmers decided to have some LULZ and make it basically impossible to hit with both sweetspots.

Jabs are complete! Now I'm going to go record the incorrect F-Smash and D-Smash data, then I'll do the smashes. Phew, it's a lot of work getting it all set up, but once you figure everything out it's actually pretty darn easy, although it gets repetitive typing in numbers on a calculator, recording them, and then adding it to the thread.
