General Rules:
- 3 stock.
- 8 minute timer.
- Double Elimination. Triple Elimination for Singles.
- Items are set to "off" and "none."
- In the event of a dispute, controller ports will be selected by Rock-Paper-Scissors
- If the timer runs out, the victor is determined first by stock and then by percentage.
- Metaknight's Infinite Cape glitch is banned.
- If a game ends with Bowser doing his suicide klaw and it ends in sudden death, the sudden death will be ignored and that game will count as a win for Bowser.
- Stalling is banned.
Additional Rules:
- BYOC
- Tio will be used as our bracket creator.
- Heckling will NOT be tolerated. If any rude remarks, or public announcements of "I hope you lose" are heard, then you will receive a warning. After one warning, if you persist, you will be disqualified. Let's keep the environment fun and friendly! ^_^
- You are responsible for your own controller and name tag. Any malfunctions or errors that occur are your responsibility, so bring an extra controller if possible and always check to make sure you're using the correct settings BEFORE a match is played. If a match is to be restarted due to controller functions, it must be agreed upon by both parties.
- Any action that can prevent the game from continuing (i.e., freezing, disappearing characters, game reset, etc.) will result in a forfeit of that match for the player that initiated the action. You are responsible for knowing your own character, and must be wary about accidentally triggering one of these effects.
- When called for a match, please indicate you heard.
- Mage's DQ rule in effect.
2 Minutes Late – Warning
4 Minutes Late – Loss of first match of set
6 Minutes Late – Loss of set
When leaving the venue, please let me know and if there is a way to contact you. If you do not give me any notice, and your match is being called, the Mages DQ Rule will come into effect.
- After winning or losing a match, report to the TO.
- In an instance where the games goes to sudden death not prompted by a time-out, an additional match of one stock will occur.
- *NO* friendlies until we specifically open the T.Vs. If you are found playing a friendly and there is a match that you can be playing or have a future match, you will automatically be DQ'ed.
-David's stupid rule is in effect: you cannot play on a stage you've already won.
-Top four people from each city gets seeded tbd by their city.
