Smash Bros Brawl Tournament to be held June 28, 2009 @ 1130AM

8 TV's will be running
we have a limited number of gamecube controllers so
it is suggested you bring your own
When:
Sunday June 28th - 1130AM
pre-registration suggested but not required

Schedule:
11 AM: Registration starts. Room will be set up, friendlies will begin
1130AM Brawl doubles will begin
1PM: Brawl singles 1v1 will begin
Fee:
$5 venue fee (extra $1.50 will get you a slice of pizza at 1PM)
$10 entry fee
6 additional consoles, game disks & cables are needed
no venue fee for those that can provide set-ups

Prizes/Pot: 100% of the pot to be split 60/30/10
Chips & soda provided for players free of charge
Bawls & Monster discounted to $1.75 during tournament

RULES:
Double Elimination
3 Stock
8 minute timer
Items are set to "off" and "none"
* All types of stalling are banned. Stalling at last 30 seconds of timer is one thing but several minutes is unacceptable.
* The bracket will be seeded by crews/region and rankings.
* Advanced Slob picks: First match is a blind pick, where the competitors will tell their character to a judge, and then proceed. The loser of the first match will then pick the next stage, then the winner may choose his character. After, the loser will choose his character and begin. The same will happen for the third match, if forced.
* You may not counterpick a stage that you won on.
* You may play any banned stage as long as both you, and your opponent agree.

* Final Destination
* Battlefield
* Yoshi's Story
* Smashville
* Lylat
Counterpicks:
* Delfino Plaza
* Frigate Orpheon
* Battleship Halberd
* Castle Siege
* Rainbow Cruise
* Brinstar
* Pokemon Stadium 1
Everything other stage is banned
