It's only bad if you perceive it that way.

It's just a sound, trivialize it and learn to let it just dissolve into nothingness. All bad language will just blur away.

Oh and just for the record, it is cool. Very, very cool. Didn't they teach you that in first grade?

****.

Its just a word lololol.
By labeling it "bad" it only gives it a stronger meaning, per se. It makes people WANT to say it.

Its just a word though, don't overreact, you'll end up hurting yourself lolo

For the record. Do not try to control what people say to the extent that your going at, it only makes you seem like the worst person in the end trying to get everyone banned who says ****.
Just ignore them, and everything will be better. Seriously, lol.

That was directed to something you said on your profile..

*****.

You like my asterisks? I like my asterisks.

Personally, I don't think much of bad language, the strength of the words, their use or anything like that but the one thing that pisses me off is when middle school kids curse in every single one of their sentences. It just gets reduntant and more annoying than anything else.

The way I see it, people eventually learn how to curse. That is to say they find a way to moderate it while still getting to say whatever it is they want to say. I've been trying to cut back on my cursing lately because I don't want to get used to it and curse around my children or nephews/nieces though I seem to be able to regulate myself pretty well in front of family.

Don't let it bother you, though. Just tone it out and move on.

If I can't be myself, then I no longer wish to know you.
If you need me, I'll be in some animated Disney movie teaching kids friendship, trust, and courage.

I just realised this is a good topic for the DH.

Then I realised it's basically gonna be a unanimous argument in favour of freedom of speech.

Life is pretty ****ing difficult.

They most likely did something stupid. Like make a blog telling people what to do.
At the least it will make them learn. I'm serious about this, sometimes you need to be told straight up to learn, lolol.

Swearing is wrong, kids. You won't get a job if you swear at the interviewer. No one will take you as intelligent or professional, so it's important that your vocabulary is too habitually "colorful".

The internet isn't a safe place.
70% of it is adults doing bad things.

I watched pr0ns from the age of 9.

Children have no hope of being protected on the internet.

So what would you say to your kid?
That's why you watch what your kid is doing if they're on the internet. If they're old enough that they no longer have an interest in Sesame Street then it's time for them to start learning about life. In life, people do much more than curse.

As far as I'm concerned, you're being overly dramatic.

I wouldn't like to lie to my kid and say "The world is a happy and safe place and you should never expect anything bad to happen to you or anyone around you."

All you guys are doing is saying "This is what the status quo is", which is never a valid arguement. That's a fallacy known as "appeal to tradition", and in this case the "tradition" is swearing/etc. on the interwebz. It does nothing to argue what should be.

You seem far more unhappy than I am, and I'm pretty foul-mouthed.

I'm fed up of people swearing BAWWWW. Q__Q

What do I say? Gotta take things easy, mother****er.

Your mother doesn't love you.

Swearing is just a word. It is only as offensive as you make it out to be. Freedom of speech yadda yadda. Why can't you swear?

Lol. You're making silly assumptions and obviously don't know anything about life. I'm pretty **** happy right now, and you really have no business to tell me otherwise.
Grow up. Seriously.

We're actually extremely happy. And the act of being rude is "how you interpret it", meaning that it's only rude if you see it that way.

And that's basically just me saying that words are only offensive because you allow them to be.

Indeed. And proud. <3

You said I was unhappy and rude. I don't know what you define as "telling" but thats what it seems like to me.
I'm not rude unless someone is incredibly ignorant, immature and annoying. And really I don't even consider it rude. Its more like "pointing out the obvious", that tells them what they're doing wrong. It actuallys helps if you are willing to listen.

@Your response to Teran: You're replying positively to a bad word? Oh no!
No, that's not even what Teran meant.
