This one was interesting. F5 Dolo threw me off with his style of Metaknight, so I was pretty discouraged after losing to him. Regardless, I stormed through loser's brackets to hit second (Benny used Snake against me and won 3-1, but for those of you who know who he is you know what should have happened anyways ). I guess I was fortunate enough to not have to play Dolo again.

Yeah I'm not posting my results. It kinda bothers me they wouldn't let me warm up at all once I got there. So my first offline game in a month, and first match in about a week, was a tournament set. Kinda lame. I ***** everyone in friendlies though. <3

Despite the low turnout, the competition was STACKED. I'm very happy I placed well there. I have both sets where I lose recorded.

Good **** ThatGuy. Never heard of Doc. Did he use MK or Diddy against you?

Doc's a new face on their scene. His acct on SWF is SilverDoc~, and PlatinumDoc on AiB. He used DDD. His grab timing is unreal. After the set, one of the GTA players told me I should have tried grabbing him more, as he tends to sit in his shield a lot.

otherwise, this tourney was so dreadful for me. you could say it was a bad day but eh lol. I'll just have to step it up next tourney. Same with Kirinblaze too!!

I like to think I did pretty well with what I was given. ADHD round 2 then Allied in losers. I just barely lost to Allied with Link against his Kirby so I don't see it as a total failure. Every set I played was extremely close. It's tough to seed a bracket properly with so many good people there. I was pleased with my performance.

Also after counting the places i took 39th of 47. Which would mean Hippie mah d00d got 47th of 47th. T____T

The last vids I posted weren't updated in the video thread, and I think that's the only other set I had at that tournament. I have another 2 sets from my last tournament waiting to be uploaded which I'm really eager to see because I get wrecked pretty badly by another (very different) IC player and a DDD.

ICs is an interesting matchup because you purposely have to put yourself in a disadvantageous position for the majority of the match to be safe, which means you basically give the IC player free platform coverage. Trying to fight an opponent underneath you is extremely difficult, so it's fun trying to maneuver around them.

EDIT FOR ABOVE POSTS: You both got 33/47, which is still deceivingly last; that's just how brackets work. Gotta love stacked competition.

EDIT2: I guess I should mention that most videos you'll see of me will be uploaded onto that MTLSmash account on youtube. The aforementioned set will not.

All this talk of tournaments is making me pumped for this fall, lol. I plan on going to Montreal for a few tournaments as well .

Side note: I also got 3rd in Low Tier, 3rd in Melee, and 5th in Brawl+.

I lost to chet's Fox and Buenob's ROB in brackets, who got 3rd and 4th respectively. Close sets, congrats to them. Buenob and I destroyed teams except for HolyNightmare and Dom, who pretty much ***** us twice . Holy is way too good, it's frustrating.

Woo good **** ThatGuy, good ****.

*sigh* Shugo got 5th at the midwest event and I wasn't even there to rival. The Sonics are really convincing people that he's better than Mario. People like to ignore my amazing results with Mario as well as Kirin's, Vatobreak's and ThatGuy's. The SBR is simply on dirt.

i won against 007 i had the chance to 3 stock his marth but i was having fun looking for jab taunt upb lol.

then i lost to a close set with basic sausage whose a top d3 player, whom he always knocks me out in tourneys, i actually did pretty ok for his d3 but offstage is amazing.

then i lost to pope some random ******* whom i shoulda beaten imo cause i 2 stocked him with mario against his dk in first round then it was close set cuz he cp'd deflino / d3 and the matchup is like 8/2 then i cp'd bf with marth and he changed to dk but i had to be a *bleep*ing ******* because i forgot the cp process so he took adv of it. and it ended up with a close last hit or die gimp thing, cuz his dk bthrow'd me and i di'd up so i knew he was gonna ledgedrop bair me but i just planned on FF'd to lower corner down right blast zone and planned on db'd stall and gimp him but his bair still got me by the tip of the foot and i was like next to blast zone so i died. **** is *bleep*ing stupid. how the *bleep* did i 2 stock with mario and just barely win with marth so *bleep*ing stupid lol w/e tho. my fault for not remembering the cp process


lesson learnt from today = ALWAYS GET THE FIRST KILL, ALWAYS REMEMBER THE CP PROCESS AND DO IT STEP BY STEP. Gonna write up a essay on these for you guys laters. oh and here's quick run down on singles what happened lol.

here's the results for my last tourney.

lesson learnt = mario should be my offical dk cp. and dair spam and fireball on d3 is perfectly legit to catchup by 50%. I am too good in camping for comebacks lol.

I'm suprised that there were no MKs.

Mario for 2 Sets, Link for 2 Sets. Lost 1 Set using Mario/Link, lost the other set as Pit 2-1. I was in Loser's Quarter Finals against MikeG this really good GnW, lost Game 1, won Game 2 and on Game 3 on Brinstar we're on our last stock both high %'s, he missed a Dair and I'm right infront of him I turn to punish with an Fsmash that would have KO'd him..and I trip when I turned around and he Fsmashes me and I lose the set. T______T; I should have gotten 4th or even 3rd, but meh. God hates me or something.

Good **** again Kirin, and Hippiedude! If I remember correctly Vato said he was done with this thread. But there's quite a few Mario mains from before so this should spark a lot more interest.

And I can always bug him to update xD. I'll grab my bi-weekly results .
