Afro just decided to drop Snake sometime ago for whatever reason and picked up Wario, then he wanted to use Snake again so he dropped Wario for him.

I think he still uses Wario sometimes though, at least on real gay CPs. I know he used him vs CO in one match on Brinstar at the last Gigs.
