DO NOT POST REQUESTS FOR SONGS HERE
This thread is for posting finished music only. Direct all song requests to the BRSTM Factory thread, found here.
For another extensive list of BRTSTMs, check out BrawlCustomMusic.com . You can submit and upload music there. Previews of songs are automatically created and everything! I better stop raving about it before I make this thread look outdated...credit goes to Moosehunter for the great website.
Intro
With the advent of the file replacement code (thank you Phantom Wings!) anyone can easily run custom music on Brawl. I'm sure you guys, like me, are chugging away to add the songs you love, songs you find appropriate for a stage (I'm on a Boat!), or songs you just want to annoy people with.
This thread is where you can share your own music with THE ENTIRE INTERNETS. Hundreds of songs, edited and converted to the brstm file format (needed to run custom music) have already been added to the rapidly growing list of music. Go ahead and contribute your own brstms!
What to do:
1. Put the song name and artist/videogame the song is from.
2. Put a link to a site to download the .brstm file (the filename should have the song title in it, not a name like A01.brstm).
3.Try to find a Youtube video or MP3 link containing the song so someone can preview it (this is especially important if your music is obscure, but it's just convenient for those who want to see what you're sharing).
If the song you submit is under copyright, it'd be polite for you to also post a link to a location to buy it or the album it's on (as you might see done with copyrighted music on Youtube). Support the artists!
Once you add this info, I will add it to the top of this topic in a nice format, arranged alphabetically for others' convenience.
If you would like to make my job easier (and get your music up on the list quicker), just insert the details of the song in the following template, replacing the capitalized text with your songs details and links (besides DEMO). Once you preview it, it should look like the songs on my list.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR POSTING REMIXES
Use the following online form, designed by masamunecyrus, to automatically generate the submission with the right HTML standards to fit.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR POSTING REMIXES
Always put the name of the game/other original source first, in orange. Then put the name of the remix, followed by the name of the original song in parentheses (or, if the remix has no name, put the name of the original song first, then "Remix" in parentheses), in yellow. After that, put the name of the remixer in orange.
-- If the song was featured on OverClocked ReMix or another site, use the name of the site for the remixer's name.
-- If the song is part of a remix album (like any of OCR's albums, doujin albums, etc.), use the name of the album for the remixer's name.
-- If the song was remixed by an independent remixer (like PokeRemixStudio, or something that was posted on OCR's forums but never featured), use the name of the remixer.
HTML:
VIDEOGAME OR ARTIST - SONGTITLE (ORIGINALSONG) - NAME OF REMIXER By YOURNAME - DEMO
1. Wrong: Rozovian - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Eye of the Storm by urdoinitrong - DEMO
The name of the game should be first, and the name of the original tune is nowhere to be found. In addition, this song was featured on OverClocked ReMix. Thus, it should be formatted like so:
Right: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Eye of the Storm (Lost Woods) - OverClocked ReMix by midoinitrite - DEMO
2. Wrong: Project Chaos - The Doomsday by urdoinitrong - DEMO
Again, the name of the game should be first, and the name of the source should follow the name of the remix. This song was part of an OCR remix album, and it should be formatted like this:
Right: Sonic 3 & Knuckles - The Doomsday (Doomsday Zone) - Project Chaos by midoinitrite - Demo
3. Wrong: Pokemon G/S/C - Kanto Gym Leader Battle (Remix by PokeRemixStudio) by urdoinitrong DEMO
Name of the game is in the right place, and the name of the song is correct. (PRS never names his remixes.) However, the name of the remixer is in the wrong place.
Right: Pokemon G/S/C - Kanto Gym Leader Battle (Remix) - PokeRemixStudio by midoinitrite DEMO
Why share your music here?
With this topic people will easily be able to pick and choose what songs they want, and you wont have to have a whole music pack prepared to share your own stuff.
How do I get this music working?
Download the brstm file and rename it according to the following list to choose which song in Brawl to replace. For example, to replace "Mushroomy Kingdom 1-1" you would name your file "A01.brstm"

A few fixes and reorganisation of 2 songs by Linkshot
To at least stop the "increase volume and beginning then decrease in small 'chunks' every few seconds" thing altogther, to to the Preferences thingy in the Options menu of Winamp.
Go to where it says "Plug-ins" in the sidebar, then select "Input".
Look for "Alpha-II SPC Player", and double-click it.
In the box, select "Custom" for the DSP Emulation.
Next, go to the "Mixing" Tab, and adjust the settings to the following:
AAR = On
Amplification = 0.0dB
Output Threshold = 0.00dB
I'm not sure whether the 3 tickboxes would affect anything at this point, but I currently have all except "Use Winamp's volume control for adjusting the level" ticked.
As I said, since they'll all be at 0 dB amplification, they will be sort of quiet.

If you are running the latest nightly build of Brawl+ you're now good to go! Otherwise you might have to add the File Replacement code manually. See SMK's topic (linked in the Links section) for more info.
Links worth noting
SMK's File Replacement topic: Contains the up to date code to run custom music as well as a tutorial on how to make your own .brstm files from your mp3's, with a focus on editing the song with Goldwave.
Slashy's custom music tutorial: A good visually aided tutorial that shows how to convert to brstm files using Audacity.
Vyse's Music Guide and FAQ: Extensive but easy to understand tutorial for converting your music to brstms, including information how how to properly set loop points (in Goldwave) and how to test your brstms in Winamp. FAQ just just and it should, and may give solutions to any errors you've been getting.
Tools
Audacity: Extremely capable open source music editing software. Completely free to use, and is used in Slashy's tutorial.
Any Length Song Title by Dantarion: Program used to automatically create custom song titles for your brstms to be shown when a stage is loaded. It expands on shadowofchaos725's work to make the length of these titles as long as you need.
Brawl Custom Song Maker by Bionic Sonic: An easy to use tool to make brstm files already correctly named for the Brawl song you want to replace. Includes a link to a video tutorial to work things right.
Brawl Custom Song Maker GUI by Dantarion: Expansion on SuperSonicRacin's original program to add an easy to use graphical interface to it. Your created brstms are automatically organized in the program to make it easy to pick where you want it in the game, and they can be previewed within the program. Support for adding loop points is there.
Custom Music Titles by shadowofchaos725: Want to seamlessly integrate your custom music in the game? Wish that when you started the match you could customize the song title to match that of your custom song? Shadowofchaos725's fix, using codes you construct, is just for you!
Goldwave: Audio editing software preferred by many for making brstms. Includes features that cater to those trying to make good loop points. This is used in Vyse's music guide. The full version of this program costs money.
Mediafire: Free file hosting website. Easy to use and keeps your uploads organized. Commonly used when sharing brstms.
