Southwest Travel Plans
Welcome to the Southwest Travel Plans group! The purpose of this group is to create a well organized and easy to use list of upcoming events for the smash community in the southwest region. We will be able to share with each other what tournaments we want to attend, who will be going to each tournament, how we plan to get to those tournaments, where we will stay/sleep while there, and general contact information.
With that being said, please be respectful of others by not editing this document with false information. Don't even think about doing stupid stuff. I can undo any change with two clicks.

How it got started?
The idea of having a Southwest Travel Plans resource started out a while back as a private group. We had only a few members that had one goal in mind: we wanted a place to plan out traveling to tournaments around TX. It was a place to share phone numbers and address. Then more people became interesting and wanted in on our travel plans. The group quickly became public. Eventually I got tired of being the only person able to update the group's front page with travel information. So I decided to create a Google Doc (works like a Wikipedia article) so that everyone can edit and update information without me being around.
What should I do in this thread?
This thread not only provides the link to the Google Doc (which you should bookmark btw) it also provides a place to talk to people about traveling. You can post links to upcoming tournaments, ask for rides to a tournament, ask for housing, or whatever.
Something I would recommend all of you doing is subscribing to this thread. To subscribe click on "Thread Tools" at the top of this thread (if you can't find that, hit Ctrl+F, type Thread Tools, and it will highlight it for you) then click on "Subscribe to this Thread" The benefit of subscribing to threads is that you'll be able to easily see when someone posts something new simply by accessing your UserCP page.
