Alright everyone! After careful planning and formation Me, Chibo and Inui are putting together a Circuit for the Tri-State area. Our goal is to create more competition in an already amazing region. We have seen that the Mid-west has a circuit but we want to prove that we can do it better…and we will.
This Circuit is dedicated to BOTH games (Brawl and Melee). Each division will have four qualifying events beginning in October and ending in December. After these points will be assigned in the following fashion :
Singles
1st - 20
2nd - 15
3rd - 10
4th - 7
5th - 4
7th - 2
9th - 1
Doubles
1st - 15
2nd - 10
3rd - 6
4th - 3
5th – 1
After these events we will have an event at Inui’s Venue in which a last chance qualifier is held so that the Brackets fill out to Top 16 for Singles and Top 8 for doubles. What do the winners receive? For Singles we will provide a trophy made by me and Crismas and for Doubles we will provide a plaque made personally by Crismas.
We have chosen the best Tournament hosts available for each circuit and the following dates have been chosen.
BRAWL CIRCUIT
October 24th – Viridian City
November 7th - BATTLE ROYALE II APOCALYPSE!!
November 14th - Crank that Kosha Boy!
December – Gaunlet ( date TBA )
MELEE CIRCUIT
Oct 17th - SMASHPOCALYPSE VIII
November 14th – Tunes Bi-weekly
December 5th – Saffron City
December 19th - NoJohns Bi-weekly
Finals
January – Inui’s Venue ( Date TBA but will be before Pound 4 )
Additional events at Finals :
-Low tiers ( singles and doubles for both games )
-Last chance qualifiers
-Crews
As I always say there is NO EXCUSE to not attend these events. These are events that will do very well and have a lot of people going. We will have livestream at all the events and make sure that everyone have a great time.
