Final Round's Brawl Singles Tournament!

Friday Dec 4th

Final Round arcade in mall of the americas (north end of mall next to amc theaters)
7795 west flagler st miami,fl 33144

Price and Schedule
Door Fee: $5
Brawl Singles: $5
2:00pm sign ups begin/casual matches
5:00pm sign ups end
6:00pm Brawl singles begin!


Tournament Rules
3 stock
no items
8 min time limit
no handicap
single elimination tournament
matches will be 2/3, semi finals and finals 3/5
all characters available for selection, yes even metaknight
custom controls allowed


Stage list

*Legal neutral stages are as follows:
Final Destination
Battlefield
smashville

*Legal counterpick stages are as follows:
Lylat cruise
Pokemon stadium 1
Yoshi's island

* All other stages banned
*If parties don't agree on 1st stage then it will be decided through paper scissor rock best 2 out of 3
*Loser picks next stage after that
*If both players agree on a stage not on the list then it's allowed

The pot will be divided as follows:

1st place: 60% of total pot
2nd place:25% of total pot
3rd place: 15% of total pot

As far as setups go we have 4 tv's so we're going to need 4 setups. Here's what we have so far and what we need


Am4jorge: Wii with brawl
Rekeah: Wii with brawl and a set of HD cables
BBQTV: bringing a setup
kyuss: Bringing a setup

Remember if you bring a setup you're in for free!


Food and eating
The venue itself doesnt sell food but it is a mall so theres plenty of places to eat. This includes :
Tacos n more
Subway
Canton
Pizza usa
bk
wendys
mcdonalds

feel free to bring food as long as you clean up after yourself

Corneria is a maybe for neutral too, the ceiling feels higher from melee.
Just watch out for Dedede's, and dont use a character that gets chaingrabbed.
Somethin to look out for.

*ahem* Uh... Jorge? You do realize that Fountain of Dreams is not a stage in Brawl and that Corneria is always banned, right? (Pokemon Stadium 2 is also not really recommended)

Were gonna be having a few hours of friendly matches and its 2/3 so you have a decent shot. I also hear lowering your blood pressure helps, you can ask 8bit.

single elim is kinda silly imo, but i'll consider coming.

By the way for anyone reading, we need an extra set up at the tournament so if You bring your wii with Brawl you get in free.
